I would try out Gilbert as well. Young guy that would be cheap but high upside. He is a Dallas type of signing for sure.

Scandrick, Brown, Carrol and Gilbert plus a draft pick and udfa most likely

I'd take a chance on Patrick Robinson, if he's cheap.

Three of the four starters for the Dallas Cowboy's secondary...no growth pains right now. OK

Give us a safety and cornerback in free agency and ruin the comp picks for next season as well. This will not be above a tough picture for the NFC East games alone. Then there are five other games against tough opponents. 11 wins? I'll watch the draft, but that now is a given...

Maybe or maybe not. Playing for the Browns can do that. Beasley felt that way......now look at him

How about the Steelers? Washing out with the Browns is one thing. Not getting it with an organization like the Steelers shows that the problem is him.

Hard to draft BPA when you turn over your roster this much in FA.

All 4 starting DBs gone the same offseason? Doesn't really matter who we bring in-- we will be taking a step back in terms of our secondary.

And we still have holes at DE, OT, LBer. You simply cant fill all your holes via the draft... This has turned into a really disappointing offseason.

Cause the Steelers defense really was great huh. Maybe he will never be any good maybe he will the fact is he is young with huge upside. Less then 1 year with the steelers prove nothing

What does that have to do with anything? You mean the same Steelers defense that this bum wasn't good enough to play for? How does that paint him in a better light?

Sure it doesn't. By all means, hold your breath until the Cowboys sign him.

I would like to see if Justin Gilbert signed to a cheap deal.

Gilbert lacks commitment to the game and his craft. Pass.

Sign me up for Verner and Robinson as short term fixes, and take someone in the second or third.

Woodson was big enough and tough enough to convert to safety.

Revis is neither.

Revis' issue is that his commitment is directly tied to the size of his paycheck. When your skills slip, as his have, it doesn't lend itself well to transitioning to a new position and having to prove yourself.
