We will not sign anyone until after the draft, if then. We have our top 3 in OScan, Brown and Carroll. And will add a 1st or 2nd round CB, and maybe a late round or UDFA CB.

Pretty much in agreement. I think we could add one early and one later in the draft. After the third round they're all pretty much the same bust potential or if you're more positive success potential. I've not seen data on UDFAs but logically you'd think they can't be far behind the later rounds in terms of likelihood of success.

It will take a pretty special player be it S or CB to get drafted early IMO. We have too many holes. Personally, I love taking an older CB and converting them to S. I think they make great FSs IF they've been better than average AND smart players prior to decline. You can go all the way back to the 60s and look at Landry's taking them.

I think they need to consider giving comp picks the same year you loose someone. The idea you could loose 4 players out of your backfield is insane. You are looking at playing a crapload of rookies (if you even have the picks) or cast offs from other teams.

But what about when you tighten a player? Would they get a comp pick taken away?
