lol, No. Emmitt knew his job and did it at a Pro Bowl level. (all aspects of it) Odds are good, Christine will even be half that good.

Besides, Christine's running style is similar to DeMarco Murray's except for the fact that he is less talented. The point remains that Christine doesn't avoid contact and just pile drives everyone. As Randle said, DeMarco left meat on the bone. Christine will leave even more meat on the bone for the fact that he isn't as physically talented as DeMarco. Not to mention he doesn't have the skills DeMarco had either.

If Christine wants a job on game day. Let him earn it. You guys seriously need to stop trying to promote less qualified players into the starting lineup. I find promoting Christine to the starting lineup almost as dumb as the push to make Brice Butler a starting WR.

I wouldn't say Michael is worse off talent wise than Murray. But Murray played motivated, smart and in a contact year. Michael needs to prove his talent in practice to get an opportunity, IMO. I think Murray is light years beyond Michael in the passing game, but as a pure runner, Michael is built better than Murray. I like CM's vision and burst something that Murray lacked. And CM can also lower his head like DM. I just want to see him get the opportunity sooner than later..

Might be a bad idea but why don't we put lucky on the practice squad... I mean we're not really going to use him, have Dunbar be the fifth wideout. Dunbar all ready lines up at WR at times, he can some work the short, medium and long routes. That way we could make Michael apart of the active backfield. Lucky isn't even returning kicks like we thought he would.

Two games doesn't make a season
Harris was slowly worked into the return game
Returning in the nfl is an extremely important position and like any other, you don't just throw people out there and always get success
I don't think there is any chance lucky is cut and that's the only way to put him on ps and not sure why you would need him on ps to activate another RB
We don't have 4 rb's active because only one of them does anything on st's
The nfl is pretty simple, if you want to be active you be a starter or contribute on special teams
If Michael wants to get active all he needs to do is go to the special teams coach and tell him to put him in, or pray for an injury to a RB
Lucky being active has nothing to do with CM and him not being active

I just want to see the guy. It sucks we didn't get him during the PS. We put Butler in there in routes and he was here for a week!

Just try him, what do we have to lose? If he sucks, or is just ok, big deal. We will at least know then. We need to manufacture as much offense as we can over the next 8 weeks.

I don't watch college football much but Michael looks fast and quick, with good power for short yardage. I admit that I've only seen his college highlights but what about him do people not like? Is it mental mistakes, bad attitude, fumbles.....? Honest question.

Honestly I would deactivate Swaim, and move Michael up to the 53. But only once he's READY and knows the offense. If we rush him before that he would miss a blitz pickup or cause a busted play.

Hearsay. He can't be any worse than Randle or Dunbar in that regard. We can't truly gauge those aspects until we see him in action. I don't recall any major stories about him getting his QB killed at Texas A&M.

Now I know you are not really watching the games in detail. Dunbar has been terrific in pass blocking and Randle has been good as a pass blocker.

The run at the goal-line had no chance by any RB.

All of the RBs have been good. Randle made something out of nothing several times and McFadden has gained what was available on almost all of his runs. All 3 have been terrific as pass receivers. The RBs are 18 for 211 receiving compared to last season through 2 games they were 7 for 52 receiving.

Okay and who should we de-activate? We've got too many injuries right now to activate Michael unless one of the backs get hurt.

The OL needs to do a better job getting push because they are getting none so far. Randle ran hard and got as much as he could, but there was simply nothing all game until they wore down in the fourth quarter and got a little bit with DMC.

could we use Romo's vacated spot?

Watch his college tape. There's plenty out there. Selling you on Michael would be no different than selling you on that thumper we drafted in the middle rounds.

I watched the highlights and didn't see very many. There's really not that much footage on him with Seattle either.

I remember him coming out of college. He was relatively unknown despite playing for 4 years. He never got over 1000 yards due to injuries

You guys are going to be severly dissapointed with CMike the guy is a career(college and pro) underachiever.

In a one game rush off you'd probably get more production out of Troy Hambrick.

Still doesn't void the fact that our top 2 guys go down as easy as Felix jones. We need someone who can take on and blow up tackles. Ill be waiting for Michaels chance

McFadden and Randle ran hard Sunday. Not sure what games you guys are watching. They were simply no holes there. They got as much as was available and actually both broke a few tackles.

Problem is, Randle looks good, McFadden looks good, and Dunbar looks good. The offensive line needs to step it up a bit, but there's no real problem here.

It's just a matter of time before the nagging injuries kick in though. He'll play soon.

The same games we haven't had a rushing td. The same game we tried to push it in and got stopped. Yes I understand it's onlyrics been 2 games in but I'm not wrong in saying we haven't been the same running the ball (specifically running). Whether it's the OL, the defense we'very been playing, or the RB I guess we'll wait till the saints or later in the season vs TB to see if our RB can be dominant against a mediocore team.

I mean, what's the game plan anyway? A tough 2.8 ypc? Hey, until it's proven it should be a concern. Now with Weeden back there of course the run game has to do much better. Also, if we do get in 5 yards for a TD again and we lose faith to run the ball in, something has to be done. You know and I know we won't be replacing our all-pro OL.

Where are you getting your info from?

Everyone has CMike as being a physical freak. He has MORE talent than Murray is what I read.

lol. Dude was drafted in 2013 and has never been anything more than a 3rd string RB.

FYI, physical freaks don't last long if they aren't football players. That crap works in college, but it doesn't translate to the NFL. His problem is stupid doesn't work on the field.

Do I need to mass produce signs? Cmon man... We need a thumper & neither of our top two RBBC are it.

It is pretty much a guarantee that a thumper would have run it in during that early opportunity down inside the 5 where we came away looking like fools. They gave it to Randle on 1st down and then completely got scared when he got pushed back. With a thumper in there, Linehan still has the confidence to mix it up on 2nd & 3rd downs and we potentially take it in vs settling for a FG after running an incredible amount of time off of the clock. When you control the clock for 8-10 minutes, that's supposed to end with someone in the end zone. Period.

If Michael's had made the same cut Randle made, he would have been stopped, too, and Dallas would have passed the ball on the next two downs.

Understand that Linehan and Garrett both have passing tendencies, so it doesn't take much to get them to not think they need to pass. The key is having success on early downs with the run. Getting stopped in the backfield on first-and-goal will almost always cause Dallas to revert to passing.
