Might be a bad idea but why don't we put lucky on the practice squad... I mean we're not really going to use him, have Dunbar be the fifth wideout. Dunbar all ready lines up at WR at times, he can some work the short, medium and long routes. That way we could make Michael apart of the active backfield. Lucky isn't even returning kicks like we thought he would.

Well once Hardy and RMcClain come back, we need 2 rosters spots for them.

This will be the only season McFadden and Dunbar will stay healthy.

Lol. That's quite a stretch with McFadden but stranger things have happened. It just feels like it's really a Randle & the Committees concert vs a true RBBC setup. McFadden isn't really getting the opportunities/touches that Randle is getting from the line of scrimmage. So either activate Michael in place of McFadden or go unbalanced line regularly and sit Clutts. I would assume the Clutts option is a remote one because of his involvement on STs.

Or just make Lucky inactive on game day. Although I do wish we give Lucky another shot at P/K returns at some point this year. The kid has a burst.

Do I need to mass produce signs? Cmon man... We need a thumper & neither of our top two RBBC are it.

It is pretty much a guarantee that a thumper would have run it in during that early opportunity down inside the 5 where we came away looking like fools. They gave it to Randle on 1st down and then completely got scared when he got pushed back. With a thumper in there, Linehan still has the confidence to mix it up on 2nd & 3rd downs and we potentially take it in vs settling for a FG after running an incredible amount of time off of the clock. When you control the clock for 8-10 minutes, that's supposed to end with someone in the end zone. Period.

Isn't he a terrible at picking up the blitz? Lets be careful what we ask for...

Please sell me on this guy.

Watch his college tape. There's plenty out there. Selling you on Michael would be no different than selling you on that thumper we drafted in the middle rounds.

Hearsay. He can't be any worse than Randle or Dunbar in that regard. We can't truly gauge those aspects until we see him in action. I don't recall any major stories about him getting his QB killed at Texas A&M.

If I remember correctly, Randle is decent at it. McFadden is good. As for Dunbar...

My issue with Christine is he is a bit too dumb to be a football player. Then again, Randle is playing haha.

And Emmitt was a rocket scientist?

RB is one of the positions where being able to read a defense is almost near useless aside from pass pro.

Michael may need to show up in practice, which was one of his shortcomings in Seattle from what I remember. But he is talented enough to take snaps from everyone so I'm not worried.

With two TEs out (Witten possibly) why not go 4 rb and clutts. Who else is going to take the spot?

On the field, yes. Obviously.

lol, No. Emmitt knew his job and did it at a Pro Bowl level. (all aspects of it) Odds are good, Christine will even be half that good.

Besides, Christine's running style is similar to DeMarco Murray's except for the fact that he is less talented. The point remains that Christine doesn't avoid contact and just pile drives everyone. As Randle said, DeMarco left meat on the bone. Christine will leave even more meat on the bone for the fact that he isn't as physically talented as DeMarco. Not to mention he doesn't have the skills DeMarco had either.

If Christine wants a job on game day. Let him earn it. You guys seriously need to stop trying to promote less qualified players into the starting lineup. I find promoting Christine to the starting lineup almost as dumb as the push to make Brice Butler a starting WR.

its about the OL as well. Murray isn't doing so good with a shiitty OL is he? has he dropped so much from last year to this year to look like crap? the problem wasn't randle. Philly got nice penetration in the gap to get to the RB in the back field. Christine wouldn't have made it neither.

Well, he did have a very mobile QB there.

If they were planning on keeping the FB, then that means you'd have to make inactive someone like Davon Coleman & La'el Collins to allow CM to play....not going to happen, and shouldn't (although personally I think Dunbar is a WR, which makes Lucky Whitehead a useless active player). He won't go in until one of the RBs are hurt.

I would go at it without Clutts and use a TE as H back if necessary. Or line up Micheal as the lead with 2 backs.

He's perfect for short yardage. Carry 4 active RBs. Whatever works.

honestly I rather have him active than clutts. Clutt sucks as a fb. We should just use a TE they are all get in the way type of blockers.
Whatever happen to that crazy fullback the eagles drafted that busted his head with his old helmet lmao.

the thing holding him back is Michael probably suck on special teams. If your going to be a back up you got to be useful on special teams. Did you see how Matt Jones looked for the skins? I think Mike could provide that for us. He is our biggest and 2nd fastest back. 5-10 and 221lbs coming at you full steam. But im sure he will only play if another RB gets injured

He's gotta learn the playbook first or it could get ugly...
