Those two need to be incased in glass and set up at Texas stadium with a sign that reads "Break only in the case of injury". :lmao2:

I would go with a veteran who has demonstrated play recognition skills. We don't need a superstar, just someone who is not going to let Santana Moss get behind him with the game on the line.

Putting a rookie back there to bite on every misdirection play or play action pass solves zilch. We already got that in Keith Davis.

:hammer:

I hear you but if the rookie can flat out play then what's the harm? The vet may come at a steep price tag and only be here for a year or two at best then we are back to the drawing board at FS.

rookies get beat, and guys such as Lance Schulters aren't going to cost too much as he's 31

Please! Leave him on special teams. We need much better play from our FS.

yes, but there's nothing stopping Davis from being our FS in the future, other than experience

Corey Chavous is a veteran who has been a ballhawk. He's also played more strong safety than free safety in recent years, and several things that I have read indicate that he may be slowing down some.

Just from reading reports.....I would say this guy has a great chance.

You need someone with ball hawking instincts to be a GOOD FS. Davis did not show much there- and that is something that CANNOT be taught.
