that was my whole point! people must need a life on here because they got all bent out of shape due to the above point...thats why i want merriman...he is dominant...others on here wanted to argue that only to show their ignorance...and then they had the nerve to say they would rather have ware right now rather than merriman...

then people like hos would say that and in the next post talk about ware's future play...first it's he's better now then it's ware is going to be good in the future...which is it hos??????? is he better now or in the future? he will give me some stupid retort like....if you had a brain you would understand...something like that...not true intelligence....the bottom line is people on here have overrated D. Yes, we all get that you think Merriman is better.

This whole, "...but we coulda had so-and-so" is stupid.

Call it a mistake if you want, but say it and be done. You're wasting board space griping about something that can't be changed.

We got three very good players in the 2005 draft. That's all we need to know....especially since the draft is so unpredictable.

Now we can start talkin...why did'nt they ask coach what would it take..or what do's he need to improve on to become that dominant player that he compared to the great L.T. when drafted?

And for the record I don't compare him to Shawn Merriman anymore...I compare him to the other #94 that played for the Cowboys C.Haley...because that was the last great presser player we had...and if we do this as Cowboy fans then we all can clearly see that this kid is not living up to the hype...sorry but when I flash back to how Haley played in that #94 a tear comes to my eye...damn I miss presser like that!

But let me end this by sayin that as a Cowboy fan for 37 years I pray(foreal)that this kid is the truth..cause if not this defense can't be great!!!!

he still has a bit to go to be agreat player, not everyone can be a superstar their first year or two, but Merriman not only has a better front 3, he gets to play against the raiders and pad his stats.

We got a good player with great upside and we should be happy about it and move on. We could have ended up like Detroit and picked a worthless guy like Mike Williams. It is impossible to tell whether Merriman would be the same type of player in our defense right now so debating as such is useless.

Ware absolutely needs to develop some more moves besides the Speed rush and the Bull rush which I think he does way too much with very little results.

Ware can be very good to great...But he's got to get more moves.
