You dont know more than the coaches. Nobody here knows more than the coaches. If you did know more than the coaches you would have a job in the nfl.
Not true at all. Coaches have owners and everyone else in their ear. A job to worry about. Often have to do the safe play. We don’t. We just see what’s obvious with no distraction.

Hardly any fans wanted Manziel, but we would’ve had Randy Moss and TJ Watt
Man please don't sit here and act like every move this fanbase wants is only the good ones lol. Especially on this site. Hell Cowboy fans would've kept Landry over Jimmy Johnson lol.

And wouldn't have had MO, Felix Jones, Escobar, Chaz Green, Jaylon Smith, or Mike Jenkins. Or MartyWeird.

We have made many many exceedingly weird high draft picks over the years.

Its easy for us behind the computer to make different coaching decisions. They are the ones who actually watch them in practice.

And know their health struggles.

Steele started at right tackle as long as he did for a lot of reasons.

Beginning of the season with Collins out, Knight was hurt, Erving was hurt and either McGovern was slow coming out of the gate or he also wasn't 100 percent healthy.

Then, when Knight got healthier, Smith went out and the other issues remained the same.

Then, when Irving returned, Knight went out. After McGovern stepped in when Martin went out because of a concussion, we should have made the change when Martin came back, but I think that's only been one or two games.

We knew Garrett had to go. We knew LVE should have been at MLB. We knew B.Jones should have been at CB. We knew Heath should have not been a starter. Just like we know C.williams should be starting at LG. We know Pollaed would be dynamic in the slot.

So yes, frustrating.

There is patience....and stupidity. Sadly...our coaching staff really blurs the lines when it should be crystal clear in what to do.

you’re one of the most consistently wrong and cockamamie idea having poster on a site full of then. Wouldn’t pay yourself on the bank too hard, sir.

Or to let the clock run down when you are about to score a go ahead TD with under 2:00 to go....

How many of us, and how many times, called for Zack Martin at RT, Donovan Wilson at SS, and Antuan Woods/Neville Gallimore (or anyone other than Poe) at DT? Yet why did it take almost one half of a season to make these changes? So very frustrating that us fans saw this so much earlier than the coaches.
Because Jerry has a big say so in who plays....when the FA’s fail who is the one that looks stupid? Jerry has a mega ego and hates being wrong.

How about run the ball more period ! I been saying that since game 2, and be more balanced instead of the air kellen show.
today they ran 31 times for 180 yds, and passed 32 times for 196. the running more was what won the game for them.
gave the ball to pollard more and he broke one for 42 yd td, then of course they pulled him out lol.

So watching the players in practice makes the coaches dumber so they can’t see the obvious? The proof was on the field that all the casual observers were right and the coaches were wrong. Fact.

Sounded like Martin finally agreed to the move. Its business too in todays game. There has been a couple of cases this year where the team asked a guard to make a move to tackle and went to the front office to get an increase in pay for making the move. Martin is the best guard in the game and would be taking a risk at playing tackle and potentially not playing at the same level of excellence.

Because there was no preseason for Cowboys new coaching staff. It's going to take this entire season for them to know their players & where they thrive.

This new staff hasn't been watching Dallas nor were they ever fans. Why should/would they know prior?! Give them time.

Did Martin really do that?

Coaches almost always error on the side of the more highly touted guy for what he has done in the past. Even now pollard can break off a 42 yard run and still not earn more than 5 carries because they want to run zeke. Coaches are always afraid of what the young inexperienced guy can do. They tend to lean on the veteran believing his floor is higher than the young pup.

1. We always know more. It’s part of being the brotherhood on this board.
2. “We” not “us.”

Some fans don't understand how very important it is to have a solid guard inside. All they understand to be is that the tackles are important.
The honest truth is we need 5 Zach Martins.
