I dont think she ever said he was aggressive. In fact, she took it all in stride as Fisher is normally a bit "salty" and gets triggered she tells me. If u watch the vid and read chat she never gets upset at him.Always respectful. But she was entertained nonetheless, by his rants.Thats all. I use to watch him, but its been a long time back. I cant anymore, Im getting too old and have physical issues Im dealing with. Gets my BP up. Just had heel spur surgery and achilles reattachment surgery. Im doing good to remember anything right now lol. The wife been taking care of me.
Nah man, I know how you feel. I was married 15 years and during that time I was always quick to rush to her defense. Joke's on me since the divorce. I'm also not getting any younger.

I'm also a professional podcaster for my company now and I know how different I am on camera compared to in real life. Even on a business podcast half the time I'm acting, so it can be easy to misinterpret on both sides. I think Fish is a bit of a jerk and I generally don't listen to him (I prefer Cavanaugh and Voch) but I know a lot gets lost translation.

Best of luck to you both on your recovery.

She didn't ask the question in the OP (In fact she didn't ask a question at all, she made a statement) and Fisher did answer and not in an aggressive way.

She made a point that "You aren't the guy if you haven't won a Super Bowl".

Fisher pointed out the careers Danny White, Jim Kelley and Thurmond Thomas as examples of players who were considered great that got no rings.

The comment about standards was only raised by Fisher referring to fans, not Rayman's wife specifically, that felt that a players legacy "sucked" if he never won a Super Bowl and that that is a standard that is "ridiculously" high

I don't think Rayman quite heard the actual exchange.
I didnt. Your right. But I went and watched it again. It all good. I think he was salty and she was respectful. It wasnt that bad. The gist of the post was really to be entertaining and get a chuckle. She laughed it off when she was telling it all to me. I don't take any of this to heart. Nor does she. Life is too short, BUT is it really askin much for a SB after a 27 year drought? I think thats all she wants. I agree.

...this morning on his YT channel live. My wife subs to his channel and she simply stated, why isnt the SB the standard and he was triggered in his answers. He lit her up just for stating it. She just wanted to know why the SB isnt the standard for Dak. He obviously didnt like her question. He said basically its asinine and too lofty a standard. I was spittin my coffee out as he went on his rant. It was a bit funny and typical of him I guess. But it goes to show us all what we already knew, Mike is a go along to get along Jerryite. She did mention it had been like 27 years since we been in a SB and he didn't like that very much either. He said so have a bunch of teams. Called her spoiled. Thats all he had was that. My oh my how the bar has been lowered thanks to Jerry and his minions like Mike Fisher. God Bless our team and may we win despite all this. Just wanted to share this with u all.
Fisher is an abject buttsnooching idiot.

I got blocked from his Twitter basically asking how many other GMs could go on a 20yr dry streak and keep their job

Ty very much. I Luv Voch. I listen to him everyday. I like Jeff but at times the dude gets weird. Voch seems really locked into things better than most.

Yawn.
A standard is steadily reachable.

Our STANDARD before the Clown Show was this: we EXPECTED to win the division every year. That was all but a given.
We expected to reach either the NFC Championship game or fall just short of it.

It is clear is is doable as it has been done pretty consistently by teams like the Patriots. The Packers and Steelers also came pretty close regularly.

So this idea that expecting to get that far is somehow impossible is a pile of horse dung.

It is just been impossible for the Clown Show.
Yeah it trips me out too man.
The Cowboy "standard" has evolved into some kinda participation trophy level joke.
All the inconsistency and early playoff losses have beaten me down too over time.
I mean, just a few years back, I wasn't even looking to compete on the Patriots with Brady level. But dang, the Cowboys weren't even in the conversation with the likes of the Steelers, Ravens, Colts, Pack, Seahawks or Saints consistent playoff success either when they had their elite Qbs. I mean, I would have probably settled for a few playoff war type losses with the likes of those guys. But no, not even close.
And NOW it's a whole new generation of AFC star QBs who make the NFC as a conference, appear inferior.

And even with this, I still don't think Dak can win 3 playoff games in a row regardless of coach or team support.
So yep, my past standard that I shared with you is now a Dak standard unfortunately.
And that standard's ceiling is a WC win.

And Dak is an integral part of The Clown Show you refer to.

The SB should always be the goal every year and if you did not win it then the season is a failure. One should always trive to be the best at what one does. People can hate George Steinbrenner, but if the Yankees did not win the WS every year than the season was considered a failure and rightfully so. When you start to be satisfy with you won success that is when you start to lose your edge and motivation.

The average rate of teams winning Super Bowls in the NFL is 1/32. So essentially you are insisting on being in the top 5%. Fisher is a turd but that level of entitlement is a big reason why this fan base has the reputation that it does.

Not to defend Mike Fisher too much as he’s certainly a goober of the highest order, but “the standard is a championship and anything less is abject failure” is the quintessential low IQ sports take of casuals. It is completely incoherent when placed under even the slightest hint of logical scrutiny and does a disservice to the players and coaches of this and all other high level sports leagues. It deprives championships of their significance and dramatically undersells just how hard winning is. It also completely disregards the fact that luck and circumstance plays a huge role in who wins any given title in any given year. Most years the SB champion was one hit on their QB away from NOT being the champion.

it should be the measuring stick by the fans/team. All 32. If it aint, then what are we doing? I might agree with u if it weren't the fact its been 27 years since we sniffed a SB. Entitlement? Thats not me, us. Its more like, the standard we set every year and unless we are the NBA Clippers of the NFL, all 32 teams should think like this. This fanbase is hungry for a Title again because its been a laughing stock for 27 years. A SB must be earned. I know this as a fan since 1973. I know a few things.

Team game.
That's why SBs are not the measure of any player, particularly *not* getting them. Lots of great players don't have rings.

true, but man...27 years is a long drought. Hard to blame the fans for getting restless, wanting answers.
