Funny and not shocking admission by Mike Fisher

I see a lot that on Twitter but it's usually younger fans. They even go so far as to say Dak is the best QB in Cowboys history, because stats.

Those of us old enough to know better know passing stats these days are higher across the board because the game has changed. When you point that out and talk about playoff success (and Dak's playoff stats) suddenly it's a team game and you get the stats of the win over 8-9 Tampa Bay. I think it's a defense mechanism to maintain hope but it's possible they actually believe what they're saying.

Mostly its just what they know and have seen, Its like someone saying "Romo was the best escape artist we have had" well he was damn good but you pretty much just told me you never watched Roger play because he was the best without doubt. Kinda like the LeBron/Jordan thing when some of us are like "Well maybe watch Magic play center in a playoff series and lead scoring in the playoffs"..your partial to what you see i guess.

The dude is creepy....I still remember a story someone told a couple years ago about how he asked some other reporter he knew if his wife could pose for a portrait he wished to paint...he wanted to do it for them as a "favor" as the story went. They both agreed, and then creeped both of them out by the way he stared a hole through her.

Again, not defending Fisher, but if the conversation continues, here's this morning's video with timestamp so we can talk about the exact content of statement as it seems to be quite a bit different from the discussion:

...this morning on his YT channel live. My wife subs to his channel and she simply stated, why isnt the SB the standard and he was triggered in his answers. He lit her up just for stating it. She just wanted to know why the SB isnt the standard for Dak. He obviously didnt like her question. He said basically its asinine and too lofty a standard. I was spittin my coffee out as he went on his rant. It was a bit funny and typical of him I guess. But it goes to show us all what we already knew, Mike is a go along to get along Jerryite. She did mention it had been like 27 years since we been in a SB and he didn't like that very much either. He said so have a bunch of teams. Called her spoiled. Thats all he had was that. My oh my how the bar has been lowered thanks to Jerry and his minions like Mike Fisher. God Bless our team and may we win despite all this. Just wanted to share this with u all.

Good story, your Wife knows the standard...she's a real one. Fish is so annoying n irritating for me to listen too, and I'm 105.3 got rid of that dude's reports of info everyone already knew.

My wife is proud of our son. He's in Korea. I am very proud of him as well. Some fans are twisted.

I had a buddy in AIT that had the Korean DMZ as his first assignment. He was 6'10" so I guess they figured he would be an imposing presence.

thats fine. Nuthin 2 hide. He tried his best but in the end..it is what it is. A heated disagreement and not the end of the world. Just a debate and disagreement, worthy of discussing. Ty it means alot. No college but the kid is insanely smart and mentally tuff. He's 5th generation Army I guess a bit of secret squirrel stuff that I cant ask about.

SB is the standard for all NFL players. some reach it. some don't....but it doesn't mean you are bad if your don't reach it. it just means you didn't win a championship.

we agree. It just means in Dallas' case, its been 27 plus years and thats unacceptable. Fish disagreed . I'm done talkin about it as it gets the weirdo's stirred up. I was just giving some lighthearted info when I posted the thread topic. My wife was amused with Fisher and didnt take him that serious as he did, tho he did try to walk it back. Right or wrong, they respect each other in the end. At least she had the guts to make a statement to him. Its a slippery slope when mediocrity is accepted out of hand. I think thats what she meant.Hey, maybe she didnt word it right . She was just focused on Dallas and Dak. Next...
