I have family there in Bama near that base. Isnt it shut down now? When I visited Anniston/Jacksonville area it appeared to be closed. That was about 3 years back.Basic and AIT Ft. McClellan
Thank youTY sir for your service.
Yes it’s not the same I drive by it once a year on my way to east coast from Texas . Shame what has happened to many bases. Wife and I drove by Ft.Sill Oklahoma the other day and it’s similarI have family there in Bama near that base. Isnt it shut down now? Yes, lead paint and other contaminants caused the base to shut down (it was shared with a chem battalion as well).I have family there in Bama near that base. Isnt it shut down now? When I visited Anniston/Jacksonville area it appeared to be closed. That was about 3 years back.
I hear that. Im in Texas as well..west Texas. We made the drive to see our son graduate Ft. Jackson then Ft Gordon AIT 3 years back, and we drove thru Bama down the main drag thru town and it was (the base)abandoned. We have family in Piedmont Alabama, my mother etc. I cant believe how many bases were trashed and empty as well. Shameful.Yes it’s not the same I drive by it once a year on my way to east coast from Texas . Shame what has happened to many bases. dang. Isnt that near the army depot there in anniston? Unless its also closed. I know that area well as we use to live there up til 2012. Then we moved to Texas.Yes, lead paint and other contaminants caused the base to shut down (it was shared with a chem battalion as well).
If u know where Piedmont and Centre is we lived there for years. Been to the college in Jville many times. Time flies. lolYes, lead paint and other contaminants caused the base to shut down (it was shared with a chem battalion as well).
Ya there was lots of issues with the base in McClellan I have buddies that struggled and one that passed. I was lucky but sone gave alldang. Isnt that near the army depot there in anniston? Unless its also closed. I know that area well as we use to live there up til 2012. Then we moved to Texas.
We're not seeing the Cowboys even getting past the divisional round so her question was valid! The reason he didn't answer is Dak is more about marketing and most people know he isn't good enough. So you're not the guy if you don't win a Superbowl...so don't trade for a player unless they won a Superbowl, that's ridiculous logic....that's what he was saying..just like his example with regards to the Buffalo Bills who made it to the Superbowl four straight years but since they didn't win it, they're somehow losers???
Man I was wondering what happened. Real sad. I read the article. Ty.Ya there was lots of issues with the base in McClellan I have buddies that struggled and one that passed. I was lucky but sone gave all

She didn't ask the question in the OP (In fact she didn't ask a question at all, she made a statement) and Fisher did answer and not in an aggressive way. We're not seeing the Cowboys even getting past the divisional round so her question was valid! That gray area topic of its a team game BUT the QB still holds a lions share of responsibility to team success is my favorite topic here.I see a lot that on Twitter but it's usually younger fans. They even go so far as to say Dak is the best QB in Cowboys history, because stats.
Those of us old enough to know better know passing stats these days are higher across the board because the game has changed. When you point that out and talk about playoff success (and Dak's playoff stats) suddenly it's a team game and you get the stats of the win over 8-9 Tampa Bay. I think it's a defense mechanism to maintain hope but it's possible they actually believe what they're saying.
Yawn. The OP gives the slant away here.
SB is not the standard for ANY single player on ANY single team.
It is not a standard for any single team either. Not the Pats, not the Chiefs, not the Cowboys.
It is however the GOAL.
It is what you work toward.
And in the spirit of the kinder, gentle CZ I can only note 2 teams make a SB per season.
If the other 30 teams simply ceased to exist because they did not, then it wouldn't be much of a league.
And I'm not at all convinced playing .400 football for 5 years to win a title every 6th year is a better model than competing yearly but failing short of winning it all.
My EPL and NBA teams had arguably the most disappointing seasons in those leagues and while it is awful to experience, I also think fans need that wake up and reality check.
Fans are NOT entitled to nor guaranteed Super Bowls. Ever. Not once, not even in a lifetime.
Are you a fan of a team or a fan of a trophy? A fan of competition or a fan of winning?
You either compete every day and that matters, or you take your ball and go home when you can't win.
If something is the standard than it is not special.
The two words are antonyms.
I dont think she ever said he was aggressive. In fact, she took it all in stride as Fisher is normally a bit "salty" and gets triggered she tells me. If u watch the vid and read chat she never gets upset at him.Always respectful. But she was entertained nonetheless, by his rants.Thats all. I use to watch him, but its been a long time back. I cant anymore, Im getting too old and have physical issues Im dealing with. Gets my BP up. Just had heel spur surgery and achilles reattachment surgery. Im doing good to remember anything right now lol. The wife been taking care of me.She didn't ask the question in the OP (In fact she didn't ask a question at all, she made a statement) and Fisher did answer and not in an aggressive way.
She made a point that "You aren't the guy if you haven't won a Super Bowl".
Fisher pointed out the careers Danny White, Jim Kelley and Thurmond Thomas as examples of players who were considered great that got no rings.
The comment about standards was only raised by Fisher referring to fans, not Rayman's wife specifically, that felt that a players legacy "sucked" if he never won a Super Bowl and that that is a standard that is "ridiculously" high
I don't think Rayman quite heard the actual exchange.
note, its been 27 years. The OP gives the slant away here.

AMEN!!!!!!!!! TY for stating it plainly.Yawn.
A standard is steadily reachable.
Our STANDARD before the Clown Show was this: we EXPECTED to win the division every year. That was all but a given.
We expected to reach either the NFC Championship game or fall just short of it.
It is clear is is doable as it has been done pretty consistently by teams like the Patriots. The Packers and Steelers also came pretty close regularly.
So this idea that expecting to get that far is somehow impossible is a pile of horse dung.
It is just been impossible for the Clown Show.
Well the clown show as you put it probably are in part responsible for the reason they failYawn.
