I hope it isn't true either. We'd have the worst tackling secondary in the league. We better load up on the front 7 if we are doing this.

How could I forget..

but seriously we better get some big bubba's on that D-line to help stop the run more...I'm cringing at the thought of Scandrick and Hamlin in the open field tackling..

Louis Delmas would put all that to rest...

Delmas is barely bigger than Scandrick

twice the better tackler and not to mention a true safety with true safety instincts.

Delmas is 6" 198 pounds btw...

Scandricks 5"10 175 soaking wet..

from NFLDraftScout

Negatives: Lacks the bulk most teams prefer. … Likes to evade blockers, rather than taking them on and shedding blocks. … Resorts to low tackles and will, occasionally, duck his head and swipe. … Can be more pesky than forceful as a tackler and will get dragged, at times. … Aggressive defender; can be beaten with play-action. … Questionable level of competition.

while willing to sacrifice his body in run-support, let's not act like he's Roy Williams in his prime

Oh gawwwwwwwwd here we go again!!! The famous Roy comparisons. Go read the negetives on Aaron Curry..go read the negatives on Malcolm Jenkins..Go read the negatives on your boy Jarron Gilbert. I guarentee there will be something on those guys you won't like

There's no pleasing you, it's like the scouting report has to say "none" in the "negative section"

I'm not the one who is making exaggerated claims here

in fact Delmas doesn't sound that different a tackler than Scandrick, both have questions regarding their size to play safety, duck their heads, aren't powerful tacklers, aggressive though

You're confused. Ball is 176, Scandrick is 192 and could probably put on another ten pounds this offseason knowing he's going to play safety.

Then why don't we get Chung or Moore to play safety and have them stop the run..oh wait..then the defense will just bomb it over their heads because they have TERRIBLE coverage skills. You have to take your lumps with some players. Delmas stuggles with tackling sometimes, but who doesn't? He's a solid tackler for the most part..those guys writing those reviews just try to find something to write.

yet you don't want to take your lumps w/ Orlando Scandrick? that doesn't make sense
