I hope to see him get around 10 snaps a game this coming year, then challenge for a starting spot the year after. He may not win the starting spot opposite Austin, but I hope he at least makes a competition out of it.
He was getting there this year. He is far ahead of Miles at the same point in their careers. Miles could only run back KOS in his rookie year. He is actually close to 3rd year Miles as he started to make some plays at important part of games and was run out there a fair bit at the end of the year.
Given that players usually make their biggest improvement from year one to year two, I look for Otree to surpass RW before the year is through. It may not be by the end of preseason but it will happen. This doesn't necessarily guarantee that he will be starting ahead of Roy, just that he will be playing better. He may have to wait until 2011 for a legit shot to be the starter.
