Why didn't you copy the first two posts you made on the subject which in effect said "great, get paid then miss work" implying that he was dogging it now that he got a contract extension. And the second was to the effect that Owens needed to be there to set an example for the young players.???? You didn't start qualifying your position until people called you out for a knee jerk reaction.

Apparently abersonc isn't man enough to stand up and say I shouldn't have said anything which could be taken as critical of TO missing a mandatory minicamp without knowing all the facts. One would presume that's how you would wish to be treated if you in similar situation but then like I already said a real man stands up and takes responsibility instead of making lame excuses.

BTW: he wasn't the only one on this board who essentially posted a comment which indicated TO had no right to miss this minicamp unless it was legit. The point is you were all quick to judge TO was in the wrong. Now you are left to crawl back on the limb you just cut off. Good luck but try to do it w/o making a further fool of yourself.

Because I didn't say anything that I feel needs to be taken back. I said clearly that IF TO had a legit excuse that I had no problem with the absence. I said that what, 5 times in the original thread. I have stood up and said, there is no problem here. TO has a legit excuse. I will not say I shouldn't have said anything because I pretty much qualified every critique I made and still believe there is a huge benefit to the young guys in having a guy like TO in camp.

Cowboys star receiver Terrell Owens missed today’s mini camp practice and will probably miss the whole thing.

The Cowboys said it was a family issue.

I hear T.O.’s father may have some health problems. I have not been able to confirm it.

Everyone should try to give T.O. some space until we know exactly what it is.

Bottom line, T.O. and Tony Romo have their timing down. I am not worried about Owens missing mini camp.

It is time for Sam Hurd, Miles Austin, and Isiah Stanback to step up and earn Romo’s trust.
