Cowboys defensive tackle Neville Gallimore was ejected late in Sunday’s blowout win over the Giants after kicking Giants lineman Justin Pugh in the groin.

Gallimore kicked Pugh as the journeyman offensive lineman went to help up QB Tommy DeVito. It was a blatantly obvious dirty play, and referees quickly picked up on it, ejecting Gallimore from the game.

It was asinine, but to pretend Pugh was innocent, and just went to help up DeVito is ridiculous.

I lost some respect for Gallimore, pulling an Albert Haynesworth stunt like that, but Pugh should have been flagged too.

Gotta say though, I don't think he really got him in the nads. It looked liked most of the force was on the lower abdomen, with the heel lightly hitting Pugh's cup.

I was surprised to see him interviewed after the game. He looked nervous if they would bring it up but they didn't.

Ok. His hit was at the waist. And the guy did not like it, so he shoved him while he is on the ground and stood over him. He kicked up and landed in that area. Well that’s what’s closest available for him. They better do something to pugh that was over him pushing him down. If he don’t kick up at him would there have been a flag for the shove while he is on the ground.

At the end of egirls game Dak got sacked and while he was on the ground he had a defender drop a forearm down on his face. He was already down and it was obvious he aimed it down on his face. And no flag. Ones no better than the other but one was called. The other was a game changing penalty. Refs missed that..

He wasn't justified the reason why Gallimore didn't get called for roughing was because Pugh pushed him into his quarterback.

While Gallimore was rightfully ejected, we don't know why he was slow to get off the QB. There is no justification for attacking a player after the play is over, so Pugh wasn't justified. That should have been a flag, offset by Gallimore's action after. Both should get fines.
