I love it.

Doesnt matter tea in china if the players dont go out and win!

If they want their voice heard and back wade, they must prove it on the field, no where else will matter, just will mean a whole lot of hot air if they dont win.

I don't have access to a lot of what the New York media soundbites, etc. Did they ever question Joe Torre or Joe Girardi that their rosters were losers after three fourths of the season had been completed?
living in NY you'd be suprised by some of the player/media situations involving the yankees since they've underachieved since 2001 till this recent championship. in other words that guy has no idea what he's talking about.

not really. they get on my nerves.

taste can range from hurt to flaw to bleu edmonson. the last is an indie band in texas with a souther/petty type of a feel. bing 'em and check out "finger on the trigger".

You need to finish that with "after 3/4 of the season is over AND they are in 1st place." Then the answer would be no. The Yankee press can get rough when they are really losing though...as in when they have a losing record.

finger on the trigger and bleu edmonson will be a band i use for "dallas vs LA" - i've got an FM DJ on 100.1 the edge in LA who i do a weekly spotlight type show on (5 minutes talking max, play a song) called 'icepicks' - dallas vs la will focus on indie bands in both regions and hopefully get some bands heard in major markets and more familiar with each other.

just like cupcake POUTING these guys have been molded by that loser for 3 years now and they're misplacing their frustration on the PRESS instead of themselves.

pathetic.

imagine derek jeter & co. doing that ROTFLMAO

Exactly, if the players want to get mad, upset, show urgency, do it on the field. If you dont, your just saying teams that beat you are better than you are, no matter what you say.

Sometimes though, you have to let out your anger, frustration, let a person or players know how you feel. Like a few years back, several of us fans were saying things about safety roy williams. He stated that he wanted to prove one particular person wrong on this board with the things that were being said about him.

Did he prove us wrong, NO!

Until you prove someone wrong and your challenged, then all your saying is hot air.

Its what you do on the field in the game, what you do in practice, studying film, staying after practice, correcting mistakes, working with the younger players to get them up to par for the game.

So, instead of getting mad at us fans when you lose and we get onto wade and the other coaches. Do something about it on the football field.

Its kinda like the old saying, if your going to do the talking, you have to do the walking.

Art's wife was having labor complications a couple of years ago. Their baby was in jeopardy. My wife had a miscarriage and we lost a baby. I sent him a PM. He is a good guy.

Heaven knows he and I do not see eye to eye. He publicly threatened to ban me on ES and then in a PM to me at Tc.net begged me to help him save face by agreeing with him on ES. In other words, lie so he looked like a hero. I wouldn't do it. That was over me defending Eric Boyer, and that guy hates my guts.

Stuff gets taken personally sometimes. Peel away the monitors and keyboards and I think most of us would get along.

Maybe I'm just naïve though.

I would like to agree with this. I have a feeling for the most part of for some reason a bunch of us got together one day we would mostly laugh about the stuff we disagree with.

hell, dc is laughing at you now. : )

i guess i'm one to disagree. to a large part, i do think that if we got together the animosity would chill out. but if you're the type who's gonna get all tough, brave and cute behind the screen cause it's "safe" then i really don't give a rats droppings about hanging out with you in person. i try to be the same person here or in person and if you have some online "persona" then you have other issues i just don't wanna get into.

Jesus, this team just can't win with some.

If they say nothing, they are weak.

If they do speak, they say the "wrong" thing.

I like that they are yelling at him. Dudes a jerk, and has been. They need to be yelling at Werder as well.

Um no. The best thing they could have done is just not talk to the guy. Kick him out of valley ranch or whatever...Ever heard the advice to not argue with an idiot because that only brings you done to his level? (I know what you are considering posting in reply to this...)

By arguing with this guy they are simply justifying that what he says has some meaning. Just shut the guy out. This team has a LONG history (3-4 years) of paying WAY too much attention to the media.

They know how to talk big and say the right things but for the most part its all talk, it may inspire them for a week but when the first adrenaline rush of "us against" the media wares off we will be left with the same players who just can't seem to get up to that level for the December games.

The more I think about this the more it makes since. We are seeing the Last Stand of Wade Phillips here, valiant, heroic, honorable, but also futile, pointless, and dangerous.

and this whole thread ignored that advice.
