Art's wife was having labor complications a couple of years ago. Their baby was in jeopardy. My wife had a miscarriage and we lost a baby. I sent him a PM. He is a good guy.

Heaven knows he and I do not see eye to eye. He publicly threatened to ban me on ES and then in a PM to me at Tc.net begged me to help him save face by agreeing with him on ES. In other words, lie so he looked like a hero. I wouldn't do it. That was over me defending Eric Boyer, and that guy hates my guts.

Stuff gets taken personally sometimes. Peel away the monitors and keyboards and I think most of us would get along.

Maybe I'm just naïve though.

i don't get along with everyone in the 'real world' either hos. not everyone will get along, ever. but like i said, you've got 1 person ranting around like crazy laughing at everyone who disagrees and openly says he'll come back to battle us homers later.

if DCFanatic were say, banned in austin, how long would you put up with it?

you tell everyone he's upsetting to ignore him but why not tell the 1 to stop it? to tell us to ignore him just seems like a strange way to deal with what seems to be a pretty big issue to many.

I'm sure most everyone would get along as well. Part of it would be that I doubt there would be anywhere near the level of disrespect that is shown by a few, face to face, as they show on the safety of a forum.

Again the dislike of DC by some here has nothing to do with rather he's a good guy or not. It has everything to do with how he carries himself and how he makes it clear that his opinions are the truth, the way, and the only possible way to look at things otherwise you're just an idiot homer and don't know what you're talking about.

That to me is no better than our high school kid here who has attempted to make it clear that Austin is the best WR of all time, even better than Jerry Rice, and there is simply no way at all it could be debated or argued.

Despite DC's faults, I know DC what faults, he stands by him.
