Gallup catching problems?

I think he has more ball security issues in general, rather than flat out catching issues. Both are different but coachable techniques.

The bigger question is why the heck so many were excited about him. Rookie WRs rarely make an impact, let alone guys selected after day 1.
Your name is great for responding to this. I wasn't a Ridley fan by go see what he did with Atlanta yesterday......... Hint he had more TDs yesterday then our entire receiving corps has all season.

Ridley is playing across from Julio, you can't compare the 2

Gallup will probably be OK in the future, like has already been mentioned rook WRs rarely have immediate impact. The level of talent, speed and size of NFL players is vastly different than the college game and will take some getting used to.

Say what you want about Ryan in Atlanta but he throws a lot to his wide-outs and he can thrown downfield. I’m not sure Ridley would be posting much results were he in Dallas.
I’m positive he wouldn’t be.

I'm willing to be a little patient with the guy. He running among a much different breed of defenders that what he saw in MW.

He’s probably got a bit of the yips. He sure looked like he could play in preseason.

Lots of WRs come out outside of the first round and have an impact. He’ll be ok once he gets his confidence rolling.

Not to worry
Garretts got this one just like the rest of the offense

There's also the issue of shuffling the WR line up way too often in games, and the QB who throws you a bone every 30 snaps. You can't get in any kind of rhythm or expect a well placed football at present. They need to leave him out there and live through his mistakes right now.

He's a good one, he just needs some more opportunities. The INT was unlucky yesterday, but yes he should have caught it.
Yeah, the wr shuffling seems to be another in a long line of dumb moves. Still haven't seen an explanation for it or reasoning for why they think it would work!

I'm not one to worry about things that really aren't issues. You know that.

I'm more concerned about protection and QB play overall.

Of course he's going to drop some passes..........................He's probably stunned any time the ball is thrown in the same zip code that he's in , much less on target............................

That wasn't what was said. I didn't compare Ridley to Gallup, perhaps you should read the conversation first before responding.
We all saw what he did yesterday. And saying he had more td's yesterday than our receiving corps. Ok so you trashed our whole receiving corps not just gallup. Again with those weapons in atlanta on the outside he should have open looks. It's a shame you rockin irvins name tho, disgracin that **** on the reg

Sanjay suddenly felt privileged......and now he is who we thought he was.

Again perhaps you should go back in start at the beginning instead of jumping into a conversation half way through. You look like s fool now so you want to say I'm being disgraceful to Irvin haha yeah ok sure thing

Sanjay special.

Hopefully, he's just in the phase that most rookie receivers go through. Struggling/meh first year and then the light bulb goes off year 2 and on.

If it was route running, beating press and other stuff you get better at over time then yeah, but catching is an issue surely he should be able to catch passes that hit him in the hands rookie or not
