Well....on the one hand I think this would be a bad move by Dallas. He's an experienced receiver, even though he'sflawed...and injuries happen. You just don't know if he might REALLY be needed should Lamb or more likely Cooks be injured.

On the OTHER hand though....I can't wait for the posts that will soon follow. I wonder how many 1st round picks people will say we'll get for him???

(The answer is like a 7th round pick, maybe....but this ought to be good)

If Jerry can dump a bloated contract, he should, which is difficult to do in the NFL.

If this was 2024, I would say it was better than the current odds at nearly zero. However, its always possible you could see some fring player traded if theres a log jam at position.

I don't think the cowboys have a clear cut dominant receiver(s). I guess CeeDee is a little better than others (not by much), but after him the others seem to be interchangeable....IMO.
So if one of them is traded away, no big deal.

Funny how last season changed everyone’s opinion of Gallup. Everyone is dumping on him because he didn’t return to form last season. I said he likely wouldn’t have a very good season, after rehabbing an injury all summer and missing the first few games of the regular season. He should be better this season, and we need him as insurance in case of injuries. However, with the development of Jalen Tolbert, and with Jalen Brooks having a real good camp, the Cowboys could possibly explore a trade for Gallop.
