Special day...my oldest brother is home for the first time in 21 months. He lives in Italy and was craving brisket. So, he's saying Zoom mass from my home and then we're having brisket with beans Ala Charra and Mexican rice. He said a prayer for the Cowboys during mass last week....lol.
What's on your plate?
Go Cowboys, Salud!

Gonna be a long slow day waiting for the game so pot roast, potatoes, and carrots seem right. Obviously rooting for our boys today just still in the court of waiting and seeing this team when a big game when it matters. Twenty five years has taken its toll but I will be foot away in hopes our silver and blue is legit. Go Cowboys!

My wife and I will be traveling all day so the menu will include a Whataburger somewhere on the way, while we try to tune in on the Cowboys radio network.
Similar to @Bobhaze we're on the road today. Likely will have lunch at Nine Pipes, MT (cool name!) Cafe. No telling what they have on the menu, but it's usually good.

Chicken wings and possibly steak..
Are you considering steak or have you found something in the freezer that you think is steak?

I've done that, found something and decided to thaw it out to see what it is only to find it was a part of something else and I didn't recall eating the first part of it which, obviously, leads to "do I live here"?

Chicken Cacciatore with an arugula and field greens salad, side of lemon pasta and garlic parmesan bread.

Bottle of Georges DuBoeuf Beaujolais Nouveau. The new crop just came out on Thursday and it's good. If you like red wine but have a low tolerance for the sulfite used in aging, this is a new wine introduced the third Thursday in November every year and we started this tradition back in the late 70's and I have kept it up going on for almost 50 years. If you do try it, beware that it has a short shelf life of about 4 months. But the upside is it creates "hey, we got to drink all this wine before it goes bad on us" party.
