My dad is coming home today, he's been in Mexico for two weeks. First Chrisrmas I ever spent without him. Can't wait to see him. I'm lucky to still have him, he's 83 years young. Salud!

I stopped spending Christmas with my Mom after my son's family moved to Alabama. She's closing in on 96 & has slowed down a bit, but is still sharp. I just hope I inherited enough of her genes.

Sorry for your loss my friend, me and you have a lot in common, lost my Dad the same way, COPD and Cancer as well, and we had the exact Cowboys connection. He knew every player and would call me constantly on game day,,, I miss that on gameday.

Enjoy those years you have left. I lost both parents within 24 hours. My dad was 91 and mom was 89

I was teaching my son to scuba dive down at Lake Whitney about 20 years ago when we came up on one about that size. Jerk that I am, I made him swim up close to it so that I could get a shot with the underwater camera.
