If I had been writing this, I would have had the battle for King's Landing take place before the battle for mankind but Cersei has been the ultimate antagonist from the get go and could go punch for punch with the Night King in nastiness and that's the showdown that's been brewing for 8 seasons.

But it does have a weird vibe to it like we've just beaten the Saturnians in an intergalactic battle for the universe and now we're coming back to fight the *****.

However, we do not know what's in store for us when they arrive at King's Landing, we got ships and dragons and catapults and bigass crossbows and arrows and swords and daggers, oh my, all kinds of fun stuff and I hope the battle is during the day so I can see more. I'd hate to find out after the battle that someone I wanted whacked got it. I want the blood, the gore, the carnage in real time, I sleep better at night.

They have severely depleted numbers now.

While they were waiting for the White Walkers to attack, I was thinking what a coup it would be if the Night King had taken his army to King's Landing instead, to build his numbers before fighting Winterfell and the dragons.

That was the whole point of the snow storm.... the Night King made it impossible for Dany and Jon to see on the Dragons... the clouds were so low

Except at that point, only Dany was in the air. Jon and his dragon had been sitting on a castle wall, watching and waiting.

It would too easy for Arya to borrow a few faces and kill Cersei at King’s Landing. Arya has killed more people than the rest of the cast combined.

That's all the more reason to dust the entire area behind the trench instead of just having the dragon breathe fire a few times. They wouldn't have lit the trench if there were friendlies behind it so there was no reason to stop.

I assumed from the beginning it would be dark, and turned down the lights. But during the battle scenes I looked at my niece and said, "I feel like a have a crappy TV!" Glad everyone else had the same issues!

It wasn't the dark that bothered me most. It was the way the picture seemed to skip frames, the way a DVD does with an incompatible player.

I rewatched it tonight. The stare between arya and the red witch when she arrived at winterfell seemed inconsequential at the time but now I understand it was her prophecy that was coming to pass.

I love 'WELL DUH!' moments. The writer included, "The resemblance goes beyond facial features: both men are also 4 feet 5 inches (135 cms) tall."

Wouldn't any 'uncanny resemblance' equate as EVERYTHING Dinklage looks like. Seriously. There are billions of men. I am sure there are a few 6' 2" fellas with similar facial features of Dinklage but they would not attract the same level of recognition as this Pakistani guy.

who had the best death scream in the last show

1. Lady Mormont-running toward the giant screaming was priceless
2. Jon Snow-Screaming at the dragon to kill him right before the dragon died. Not real smart there JOn if your motive is to say alive.
3. Theon-running toward the night king screaming but there was no sound reminded me of screaming during a bad dream. No sound.
4. Arya-running to the night king when he grabs her.

I vote for Lady Mormont. Little 14 year old actress in real life was awesome.
