I've been watching the Cowboys since 1974. I can't remember ever watching a Cowboy game anywhere but in my home, by myself. Of course, I've allowed my wife and daughter to sit quietly in the room and bring me food and drink as needed, but there is no conversation. I like to focus on the game, is what I tell them. The other day, my daughter asked, "why do you chat with your friends on the CZ during the game, but you can't talk to us?". I had to explain to her, "they aren't my friends, they're a bunch of idiots and I only post during the game to correct them, because I feel sorry for their ignorance.". Sorry, guys!
What are your confessions?

Edit! I don't really think you guys are idiots. At least, most of you. Lol

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude i used to be the same

One of the best posts I've ever read here, Bay (Eh)!!!

Hahahaahahhahahaahaahahahahaha
I have to confess, I am not much of a beer drinker. Instead, game day is when I "reward" myself with the the good stuff - single malt scotch, neat, no ice, no water.

Excuuuuse me!!! Lol, I love Johnnie Walker Black and Glenlevit! Salud!!
I really like Glenlevit too. My favorites are Lagavulin (has that Smokey, peaty aroma - I tell my wife it's has medicinal value) and Dalwhinney.

I lived in Scotland for a few years and made it my life's mission to sample as many scotches as possible.

You had a Thanksgiving story if memory serves, didn't you, X? Involving in-laws or a girlfriend, or some such?

Yes. Mother-in-law tried to force the issue. I said it's a tribute to my Dad that I won't be bullied about this issue because my Mom often hassled my Dad about it.

It seems like I had another Thanksgiving story but it's not coming to mind at the moment.

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story...

I have a friend that really subscribes to that. He tells really entertaining storys, often about drinking escapades I was involved in. The issue is that the stories are always exaggerated beyond what you would believe if I posted them, but when he's telling them it's more fun to just let yourself believe it.

Good to hear from you.

There was a guy that posted here in the past that was a great story teller but his facts about football were often wrong. Unfortunately, he would argue about it when people inevitably questioned his facts or football knowledge.

I kind of miss his stories although the lack of accuracy did make me crazy.
