Gameday menu!

Boston Butts are in the Smoker. Temp is at 170 and will slow roast all day. We will have pulled pork sandwiches, Jambalaya and fresh Pralines for dessert. The pecans are plentiful this year.

I will eat today with Johnny Walker Black. Gametime will be Jack of course. The ladies will be drinking homemade muscadine wine.

Enjoy your family and friends, Go Dallas!!!

Nothing like a warm butt on a cool Sunday morning! Salud!

My wife made her home made potato salad yesterday, but we went out instead. So today she's doing her hamburgers that are surprisingly better than off the grill. I have no clue what all she throws into them, but they're great.

Well, I was right, they burned down my thread suggesting we go Italian and I anticipated that but I did think we would get more posters on the DiNucci Saluto Day and I only saw one doing some lasagna. So, that leaves it up to me to take my own advice and for the first time in my life, that is just what I shall do. I have passed on that up until now for good reason because most of my advice was out of the "need to say something to stop the crying".

I, almost alone, will carry the DiNucci flag and hope they don't need it to drape over his casket. Rookie QB, soft OL, mad Eagles with that diabolical, evil and twisted Schwartz directing them. You ever take a good look at his eyes? The Devil I tell you! I hope the young man is agile and nimble of foot.

In honor of the unofficial "Get Nooched Day", I will begin the evening with Campari and soda and Peroni beer, Antipasto salad, Clam, Mussels and Shrimp Linguine, Italian crusty loaf, Pinot Grigio and will retire to the veranda for the second half with stogarino (Italian for cigar) and Amaretto laced cognac. I will also greet everyone I see today with "Buongiorno" and took Italian lessons from this young lady. Looking for something to be thankful about? Be thankful you're not around me today.

Gonna be a long day waiting for this game. I know we are a bad team right now, but I'm just glad to be able to watch the Cowboys, especially this year. Many other things out there that are more important right now.
That said, the wife is making a pot roast with all the fixings. I like mine with a side of Mexican rice and a couple of flour tortillas. What's on your plate? Enjoy the day, be safe and Go Cowboys!
A bowl of Cherrios... my wife don't cook ****....

Woke up to the kids eating candy from trick or treating......wrappers every where and jacked up kids!!! Ughhhhhh.........

Going to McDonald’s for breakfast and gonna do some burger sliders tonight with tots in the air fryer.

And of course lots and lots of Ultra!

Took 12 quail yesterday and another 8 this morning. I'll cook 4 cacciatore style in honor of coach and ben. Just not sure I'll like them that way. The others will be spatchcocked and grilled with a glaze. Texas style.

I couldn’t think of what to make and was at Sams in Ft.Worth where I saw a Prime Brisket that looked beautiful so I decided to smoke a brisket with some mashed potatoes, pinto beans, sausage and hot links for sides. Being Hispanic always have to have some chile so I make a red chile sauce with cheese for those that like some spice.
