Well, I hope thjs isn't the last one for the season. The team has been playing well and its been fun to string a few wins together. Gonna light the pit and grill some steaks and ribs.
What's on your plate?
Happy new year, Go Cowboys and Salud!

Pregame - eggs bacon sausage and toast.
Post game - chili and cornbread with some cheese and a few Fritos and some green onions to garnish.
I've got Bourbon and I've got beer so it's a boilermaker at kickoff:confused:

Let's go Cowboys:flagwave: let's go eagleso_O

Aside from protein shake after working out and going to get the daily cup of coffee in Helotes, I have absolutely no clue what is on my menu today. I am still trying to find my appetite recovering from the NYE party.

I was digging around in the freezer and pulled out a package of pulled pork from a BBQ joint in Tomball. The wife has agreed to make a batch of cole slaw from a recipe that she picked up a few months ago in Lubbock. As for sauce, we have a small supply of mustard-based BBQ sauce from a BBQ joint we love in Abilene--"Jays". We have pickles and peppers acquired here in the local Texas City Kroger and the H.E.B. in Georgetown. Lastly, I have a bottle of local pepper relish that I just picked up on Galveston Island. We will eat said intra-state BBQ feast here in San Leon, on the edge of Galveston Bay. Huzzah! Go Pokes!

Bloody Mary's to start the game with nourishment in the accoutrements. I am packing those suckas with a long celery rib, pickled green beans, banana pepper stuffed olives, pepperoncini, McClure's pickle spear and jumbo shrimp rolled in Tony Chachare's with some freshly popped popcorn. mixed nuts and pistachios on the side.

I am glad this is the early game and will determine the evening menu. Cowboys win and it's a Philly Cheesesteak for dinner and playing the part of an Eagles fan for one game, complete with getting mindlessly drunk guzzling Yuengling and munching on Tom Sturgis pretzels, mooning my dogs while repeatedly asking them "who's yer Diddy"? I have never done this before so wish me luck bringing home an Eagles win. I also started letting my knuckle hair grow when I realized we needed their help.

Little did we know earlier in the season that the lowly NFC East would be the focal point of the last game of the season and I will take a meaningful last game all day long. It hasn't been a great season but it sure has been an interesting one.
