I don’t really know what to say, but it needed more than a like.

So the potatoes are like a lyonnaise thing?

Knob is my drink of choice, although it’s been both friend and enemy lol.

Similar to lyonnaise but I use red potatoes quartered. I fry 6 strips of bacon in my Dutch oven on the stovetop, pull it and set aside reserving the grease. I then drop my potatoes, fresh chopped garlic, S&P, and chopped onion in that bacon grease and toss. I cover it and transfer to the oven on 450° for 25 minutes. Pull them out, add chopped roasted green chilis, 1/2 a stick of butter and toss it until the butter is melted. Stick it back in the oven uncovered for 25 more minutes. I serve them with sour cream, shredded Long Horn cheese, and my reserved bacon crumbled on top. These are my deer camp potatoes and a big hit.

why so early? what do you do?

sorry that you have to miss the game man. Monday night games are freaking lame.
I'm a truck driver, and I have to drive from CT to Long Island in the morning, so in order to get ahead of morning traffic down I-95, to and through NYC, I leave at 3:30 a.m.

Monday night games are terrible. I imagine they even suck for people with normal schedules.

The only good thing for you is that you don’t get to get hammered by coworkers at 7am the next morning after a loss. Start getting abused before I can even get to the coffee machine.

Going all out since this may be the only game day meal left of the season. Doing grilled bone in prime ribeye, Dutch oven potatoes roasted in bacon grease with onions, chopped garlic, and green chilis, and a house made Caesar salad. I'm not a big desert guy but I do have a 12 pack of brown sugar and cinnamon Pop-Tarts. I've also got a nice bottle of Knob Creek bourbon for making smoked old fashions and a little keif.

bombing !!
