Garrett’s inability to develop Dak is the most glaring

I blame him for not seeing it and sticking with Dak. Signs were there his rookie season. Signs have been there in practice. There is no such thing as a, "gamer," who sucks in practice but plays well in games. If he can't consistently perform his job in practice, then those issues will come out in games.
I saw it his first year but what really confirmed it was that fun little target practice he had with ex QB David Carr who showed you what an accurate QB was. Dak couldn't throw through a tire. I think he got lucky on like 1 tire.

I'm perfectly fine with moving on from Dak once we give him a year with a new coaching staff and he still stinks. I'm NOT fine with giving Garrett another QB and watching that qb get ripped to shreds

I used to go in on Romo for throwing those interceptions, but he got zero help from the playcalling, so he had to take a ton of risks to try to make something happen. During the Romo era, the offense would often look like trash like tonight until Romo decided to throw the playbook in the garbage and improvise, hence the king of the 4th quarter comebacks.

When Garrett was considered an 'offensive guru' by the dallas media, other people were laughing:

In 2012 this was printed:

"Ray Lewis and Ed Reed teed off on Jason Garrett after the last time the Ravens faced the Cowboys, ripping Garrett for running a predictable offense following Baltimore’s win that turned out the lights on Texas Stadium."

http://www.espn.com/blog/dallas/cow...edictable-ray-lewis-goes-p-c-on-jason-garrett

Garrett is a career killer, every team knows this; except old as dust Jerrah , it seems .
When Garrett gets criticized his fans say it’s oerso and namecall the messenger. Murderer (Ray), idiot (TO), nobody (Holley). His fanbase is loyal

If it's on Dak, then bench him and use one of the other QBs you've developed...

Cooper Rush sure looked great during preseason right?
Coaches have done a fantastic job coaching up Kellen Moore, Mark Sanchez, Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassell in the past...

Amen. Garrett has had 12 years to develop a QB and hasn’t.

It is more than Dak, why does it take so long to see obvious stuff, like Cooper over Green, like Conner isn't a guard and shouldn't be playing that position?

isnt that this man’s forte? Dak has regressed in every aspect of his game.

Jason Garrett was the luckiest man on earth when he met Antonio Ramiro Romo. It made him a very rich man.

If we are looking to replace Dak, we have to keep him away from JG

You have to have something to work with. Dak is soft mush. He couldn't hit a peach basket from 20 yards if you gave him 20 tries and he has no
touch on the ball. Just throwing the ball as hard as you can is not playing QB in the NFL.

What really is Garrett's forte? Other than a hell of a clapper I'm not sure what he has done in his time. I don't blame Garrett any other organization and he wouldn't be a head coach but since Jerrah made him one of course Garrett accepted. The real blame is the billionaire moron who keeps Garrett employed.

Yea, he couldn’t develop Moore or Weeden either. We need to find a coach who can turn a turd into a diamond.

Maybe it’s on Dak. Not everybody has it

He "had it" as a rookie. But, as I've said 100 times, why do all quarterbacks get worse not better the longer they work with this coaching staff?

How many quarterback names need to be added to the Sucks! list before we realize the coaching is ultimately responsible too?

How about one that can stay competitive without Tony Romo calling the offense for them? Is that too much to ask? But no, let's blindly turn on yet another player while we let inept coaching off the hook for another 8 years. And another set of NFL careers.

Any coach will sink with our Current QB without a more perfect surrounding support as in 2016.

Garrett allowed Linehan to make Moore their QB coach.

A guy who had never coached a QB in his life.

Say it again. The Cowboys had a young QB who clearly needed some work after his 2017 season and they went out and hired a QB coach who had never been a coach before.

Easily one of the dumbest offseason moves made by this franchise. And a fireable offense IMO.

Jerry Jones doubled down on the offensive coaching staff the helped the Cowboys set franchise records for offensive ineptitude in 2017. Instead of rightfully firing all of them, he gave them everything they wanted. From hiring his unqualified adopted son as quarterbacks coach, to placing the blame on and firing all the assistants, to hiring a "TE coach" that's never coached tight ends before.

Jones gave even more influence to a clueless staff (including the head coach) who instead should have been shown the door.

And now he reaps what he's sown.

Red couldn’t potty train a German Shepherd. He’s not a leader.

The Kellen Moore hire is the most telling one in my opinion of the incompetence on the offensive side of the ball. You have THREE young qbs and you leave the task of improving these young quarterbacks up to a guy with ZERO coaching experience and who was beat out by the actual starting quarterback.
