Few years ago JG said he wanted to spend more time with the defensive unit. That he was going to be more involved in the defensive game planning/meetings.

Is it a coincidence that the defense is still this bad?

We can have a coach who has the complete opposite demeanor as Jason on the Sidelines.

This coach, rants, raves, argues with the officials, gets penalties against his team, runs around, throws things, gets red faced, loses hair, throws spittle...

Decided to let someone else do the OC position that he had in the past so he can concentrate more on Special Teams (only for STs to still stink).

And this coach still loses some big games and wins some...and although he has helped improve the team over the years he has not been one that some think will seriously get the team to a championship.

BUT...He sure is firey and does not sit there with a deer in the head lights crazy mannequin look while clapping.

the Rams are just like Oakland and 49ers or even Seattle
those teams were 1st overall picks in the draft for a long long time. Detroit is another.
when you have that kind of talent KC just remembered is another a decent coach can do well for a bit

Rob just failed everywhere
the defense pieces Dallas added didnt end up as well as they did on offense but there were a couple hits
with Marinelli only now did they make a serious effort to give him what looks like his guys
but i do agree his scheme isnt working well and it cant be Lee or bust.
The old coach that brought Marinelli i forget his name sorry but he was Marimelli light
i dont think the defense is Garretts fault unless he handpicked them and the players
which i doubt because he didnt like Ryan

It would have to be an interim coach for the staff.
