Barber's first half numbers against the Giants:

To the Right: 1 rush, 21 yards (21.0 ypc)
Mid & Left: 8 rushes, 12 yards (1.5 ypc)

And for the year...

In 5 wins:*
To the Right
(51%) 56 car 225 yds (4.0 ypc)
Mid & Left (49%) 54 car 215 yds (4.0 ypc)

In 4 losses*
To the Right
(27%) 14 car 103 yds (7.4 ypc)
Mid & Left (73%) 37 car 70 yds (1.9 ypc)

*not including when trailing/leading by 21+ points in 2nd half of games

Good stuff there.

Why would you run behind Corey Proctor and Flozel with 1 arm? Whatever, he's Red Jesus - here to save the day.

Garrett's biggest mistake this season - Not giving Felix Jones a single touch against the Washington Commanders.

Wow! Interesting! Goes to show you, if this info is correct, that Garrett is too predictable and should run behind the biggest man you have in Bigg. Plus getting behind Colombo isn't a bad idea either.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Nice work.

The left is coincidentally where Mister Proctor has been stinking up the world.

In that game, mb3 ran right 2 times for 20 yards.

Left and middle 6 times for 6 yards.

Well the left is usually where Flozell is dominant. Isn't that where Felix has all his touchdowns at? The left side of the field?

No. Two of his three TD's were on the right side.

He just needs to be informed it's time for some adjustments..

Why are you including middle and left? Just curious. I'd rather see the stats for left, middle and right seperated. It's a tad deceiving otherwise.

The long TD left was against the Packers when he shook 2 guys out their shoes after he bounced it outside.

If Garrett can't see it himself and needs to be informed...then he does need to go!

Good point.

Edit: By the way, Felix' 68 (?) yard TD run was ... to the left.

Felix made a great individual effort, juked two guys out their socks and took care of the rest. Witten threw the great block, two of them as a matter of fact.

No intention to deceive.

Barber's 172 carries from si.com
R 73
M 44
L 55

The reason I lump left and middle together is because, in the wins, we've run right about half the time (51%). In the losses, we've run right 27% of the time. That's a huge disparity. I'm more interested in why that number goes down to 27% in the losses than I am in the left/middle breakdown.

In the 1ST HALF of the five wins, Barber ran right 32 times out of 59 carries. That's 54% of his carries that went to the right, in the WINS.

Compare that to the first half of the four losses, when Barber ran right just 7 times out of 37 carries. Only 19% of his carries were to the right side. An even greater disparity, then, just looking at the first half of the games. And the first half is a truer indicator of what the gameplanning was going into the game.

And the run was to the left.

What's your point?
