Garrett met with Murray during Mavs game

I love what Garrett establishes with these players. They look at him as a friend and respect him as a coach. I'm sure he makes it very difficult for a lot of players to leave because of the bond he forms with them.

did they pay him 60million yet? because thats a very low price for a back that looks like he got shot by a tranquilizer everytime he gets in the open field. LOL

nah man Demarco obviously means a lot to this team and is a crucial piece to be SB contenders next season. he helps pound defenses into submission. pay the man. Just dont break the bank.

Everything went awry with not being able to sign Dez Bryant long term. I told people it would be a difficult negotiation.... That combined with the apparent decision not to restructure Romo (which is unfathomable), has really crippled us in a year that we should be doing everything to improve our team and take advantage of what looks like a really weak NFC East and NFC.

The egos of Bryant and Murray may cost us a chance at a super bowl...

Exactly what I was thinking. Without the tranquilizer comment, but I LOL"ed really hard at that.

Garrett needs to meet with some defensive guys too. He's making sure he gets everybody he wants on the offense when the defense was the problem area.

There is a concern about his open field running I agree and I think that's why we see MBIII part deux.

That, his burst, fumbling like a jackass. I don't want to pay him too much. Just let him walk. He will crash and burn and his next stop.

I will say this though, if Murray re-signs I think he needs to apologize for acting like a little you know what on Twitter.

Well to be fair, he technically isn't a Cowboy right now, so I could kinda see why he wouldn't have any Cowboys pics on his Twitter, since you know, he's kinda a UFA right now. You make it sound like he went on some kinda anti-Dallas rant on Twitter.

Jesus JG leave him the **** alone.

Let him walk. G-Damn

Exactly, Unless Garrett is cutting Murray a check we don't know about just let him go Garrett. The real problem is Garrett is scared to death because he knows Jerry is gonna make him start a rookie rb next year.

Exactly.

For you to blame Murray and Dezis a joke. give me a break!

Garrett is going to be pissed if we let him walk. Garrett is on record as saying this is not a plug and play offense and Murray can't be replaced.

I really think Garrett and Romo are the two main reasons we are having dialog at all with Murray.
They appreciated what he did for us In the past and like him personally.
And that IS a big deal.

But those that look at history and at this unemotionally (and expected future bang for buck) will say to be very careful here . In other words,Will McClay and Stephen may be offsetting the balance.

McClay may say (like was mentioned earlier)

What is better

Pick 27 (OO or a DT?) and Murray
Or
Hardy and Gurley

Not an easy call
