Then you know very little about draft evaluation, ALL the draft guys are salivating.

The "draft guys" are "salivating", as you say, because of the top RBs in the draft. There are two RBs that could potentially be drafted in the first. Which has become a rarity these past few years. So, this "deep draft class" means nothing for us, if we bring back Murray.

I don't want us touching any RB in the first three rounds. We have other needs, and there is nothing special about the RBs projected to be taken in the 2nd and third rounds outside of T.J. Yeldon (Again, only grab him if we don't sign Murray).

And I really don't care what the "draft guys" say. I analyze and create my opinion myself. I kinda like using brain power, sorry that you don't.

The draft guys are salivating at the amount of talented backs available throughout the draft, not just in the first round.

If Murray walks, you bet Dallas will be drafting a back in the first 3 rounds, your evaluation of the backs besides "Yeldon" demonstrates your uneducated "opinion" on the subject matter.

Chances are Dallas will be drafting a back up even if Murray stays, they do not trust Randle.

You are not using "brain power" just simply displaying ignorance and stupidity on the subject matter!

Everyone uses critical analysis, the problem is that your analysis is not based in reality nor grounded by actual professional exposition.

You're not saying anything. You're saying this, "The draft guys said this", "The Cowboys will draft a back even if we sign Murray".

That's no analysis, you are going by the opinions of others and giving a prediction. What did I do? I instead am not going by what the "draft guys" are saying, I'm going by what I've seen of the RBs in this draft. I like one RB if Murray signs with another team, I don't want us touching an RB in the first round even if we do lose Murray. So, Gordon and Gurley are off the table. I don't like Ajayi, Johnson, Abdullah (As a starting RB), or Coleman. `

If what the draft guys are saying and this RB class is "deep", this would be a historical draft class for RBs. Realistically? Two of these guys will turn out to be something as starters, while another has a single big year and fades away and we all wonder why so and so team gave them a big contract.

Want to draft a backup RB if we sign Murray? I don't care, just don't do it in the first three rounds. You don't use picks in the first three rounds for backups.

Not drafting backups in the first 3 rounds is actually a dang good rule to live by.

I am talking about a starter in the first 3 rounds.

All of your analysis is based upon and grounded simply by your uneducated "opinion" and ignorant evaluation.

Further, you just "predicted" what these players will be, which is also based upon an untrained eye and is a total prediction and speculation.

The problem is that you have no basis to properly adjudicate and interpret what a good RB looks like, other than your uneducated "opinion" and untrained "eyes".

So your opinion is just as valid as a twelve year old who looks at the same tape.

So I am going to base my reflections on a particular subject matter on the "opinions" of an uneducated individual on a given subject matter because they claim to ground it on their "opinion" and own untrained "eye"?

Sorry, but this is what people do that lack any formal education, reject the general consensus on a subject in a specialized discipline, ignore professional evaluation based upon their own feelings and opinions and have a perspective that simply does not correspond to reality.

Dallas will definitely draft a RB in the first 3-4 rounds if Murray walks, may wait until the 4th round if he stays unless a good back drops into the 5th.

There is no point in further dialogue because you are just sharing your uneducated opinion, which is simply moronic.

You just wrote nothing, again.

If everyone lived by what you're saying, there would be no "opinions", everyone would post quotes from the "experts", the "draft guys". Sports forums would cease to exist, because everyone has an "untrained eye" unless they work in the sports world.

Again, I watch college football, I watched the combine, I form my opinion on what I see; not what others see. ****, especially not the "draft guys", who get it wrong the majority of the time.

And it's hilarious how hostile you're getting because someone has a differing opinion than you. And yes, Dallas probably will draft an RB if Murray walks and we don't draft a FA. It doesn't take someone with a "trained eye" or a "scout expert" to tell me that; think we'd go into 2015 with Randle as our starter?

Incorrect, everyone has opinions but you must have informed opinions to be taken seriously on a subject, your opinions are not informed.

No one is saying you can not form an opinion by watching college football and the combine but you need to learn what to look for and how to evaluate positions properly by the standards in the field.

Informed opinions are generated by looking at the best scholarship and data in a given discipline, learn what and how to properly evaluate the information and then use critical analysis based upon the best scholarship that grounds the opinion.

The problem with your opinion, is that ALL of the draft evaluators are on the same page with this RB class being deep, usually they disagree with each other but anyone that knows anything about draft evaluation agrees that this particular RB draft class is rich.

Go spend some time in the Draft Zone which would be a good start.

I am not hostile whatsoever, I am simply reducing your argument to absurdity but you are doing the job for me.

Randle has nothing to do with draft analysis outside of being possibly replaced in the 4-5 rounds in a deep RB class if they deem him untrustworthy.

Let me put this out here for you. These are the RBs the "experts" are saying will be great RBs in the league: Gordon, Gurley, Ajayi, Johnson, Coleman, and Yeldon. Those 6 RBs are why scouts are considering this a "deep draft class", while you have more questionable RBs like Abdullah and Davis.

Let's be realistic about this, out of those six, the chances of every single of them going on to do big things in the NFL is slim to none. Even three of them going on to be dominant RBs is slim, but let's just give you three of them. Gordon and Gurley are expected to be off the board before Dallas picks. So, we have four of the big six to choose from. Which of the four of them is the right one? The draft is a gamble, especially with running backs. And this comes down to the bologna of "draft experts", it's all a crapshoot.

And lastly, those 4 RBs are not coming into the league to backup any RB. Those 4 RBs are wanting to come into the league as starters and will be drafted by a team with need at RB. If we sign Murray, there are multiple positions on defense we will address in the first three rounds. So, you're looking at Murray's backup in rounds 4-7.

Which, you're not telling anyone anything new, players that go in that round are players that are viewed as NFL potential as role players, too raw, or injury problems/off the field issues.

Dallas' chances arent better than Jacksonville to win the Super Bowl? Come on, man! We can offer 7 a year and I think he will accept. By the way, losing Durant & Melton puts our defense in "shambles"? How?

And I'm telling you right now, you spend too much time on "Draft zone". You're wrapped up in offseason malarky.

One last time, if what these "draft experts" say is true, it would be a historic RB class. I can tell you now, there is far more of a chance this draft class will have just as many busts and JAGs at the RB position as past draft classes. The deep draft class if due to the players I just named, players we won't even touch or care about if Murray signs with us.

Want to see a deep draft class for RBs? Look at the draft class for RBs in 2008.

Lastly, you're still saying nothing.

First, Gordon and Gurley are not expected to be off the board at #27, that is why many have mocked them for Dallas assuming Murray leaves.

If they choose a defensive player at #27 and Murray leaves then rounds 2-3 will be in play for a good RB who can still produce.

No one is claiming we would draft a RB early if Murray stays but we will probably draft a RB if he stays to lighten the load because they do not trust Randle probably from the 4th on in that scenario.

I never claimed this is anything new but since the draft is deep, you can get a good RB deeper in the draft even if it is a back up.

Again, your argument was that this is not a deep RB class, just the same as every other year, these are your words.

You are wrong, the experts think you are wrong, that about sums the matter up.

No one is arguing every running back in this draft will be ALL PRO, just that the class is deep with some good running backs.

Gordon is not making it to our spot in the first. Gurley, maybe, due to slipping because of injury (Even that is doubtful). But with how the RB position is viewed now and how the draft goes, we'll see what teams make a priority.

And again, you continue to bring up experts. Are you going to give me your analysis on these players? I'm not discussing this with the "draft experts", I'm discussing this WITH YOU.

I don't think half of these backs have what it takes to translate into the NFL, which is all that matters. However, yes, a "deep draft class" would mean I see more than one or two RBs that can go on and be highly productive in the NFL. That's a deep draft class, I don't see that.

I am discussing it with you but you are ignorant on the subject matter, just opinionated without being informed.

Gordon has break away home run ability on every down and Gurley is the most complete like M Lynch, true power, these two can be special especially behind this line.

Ajayi, Coleman, Duke and David Johnson, Abdullah, Yeldon, Allen, Artis-Payne, Davis, Cobb, Robinson offer plenty from the second on depending on what type of fit need.

Being informed does not mean you just agree with everything the experts think but the consensus by experts and evaluators is the draft is deep with good RB's.

Most of us agree because we see it as well and concur that you can find a good back deep into this draft as opposed to other years.

I can not watch tape with you, I can not force you to study what to look for, I can not force you to educate yourself on draft evaluation.

Again, not only do the experts disagree with with your analysis but most draft fans do as well, this class is deep because good backs can be had even in later rounds.

You have no idea if Gordon is making it to #27 many mocks think he will be there for us and Gurley going later due to the knee, these are educated projections, anything can happen on draft day.

Again, your argument was that this is not a deep RB class, just the same as every other year, these are your words.

That, his burst, fumbling like a jackass. I don't want to pay him too much. Just let him walk. He will crash and burn and his next stop.

Demarco has fantastic burst through the hole, he has enough speed to turn the corner and he's a punishing finisher maybe the best in the league. He's not a "Bring it to the House" guy but our offense is not a trying to hit home runs. We are trying to control the tempo and control the clock.
