just wish romo would stop making the same bad throws. he doesnt have owens in dallas anymore for an excuse.

ive seen a few players who get the concept of team. and thats witten, ratliff, ware, james, brookings, the OL, crayton, barber. i see these guys working nonstop on every play. i love roy williams blocking downfield. but he needs to get open more. crayton seems more like the go to guy but roy is paid like it.

the secondary is horrible. i think dallas needs to make a call to mccallister. and newman looks his age. i think all them injuries are starting to take away from him. only thing looking semi-decent is jenkins.

This is why Im confident about the playoffs. These guys are smart and will work at it. That plus a healthy RB trio and suddenly the most underrated player in the NFL, Kosier

Anyone notice how non-ethusiastic Romo was when we took the lead on Felix run?

I don't say that to critique him and claim he's sending this or that wrong message, just that it was very odd.

He knew what was comin up and that if it wasnt for his mistakes earlier, this game wouldnt have been a contest.......

Yes it was sickening. As a team he should be happy they scored not pout.

Whatever. I doubt he was pouting. He was probably still a bit mad at himself for allowing the game to be that close.

I do know this, one of those INT's was not his fault. Chalk it up to the Giants getting a lucky bounce go their way.

Not worried! It's was only game two of a long season. Lots can happen.

If our team plays like it did Sunday night, this board will explode.

Are you serious or just being silly? How many lead changes were there in the 2nd half and did we take a lead at the end or did the rest of the world imagine that?

Judas Priest, I understand being upset, but does it require blindness too?

Its actually quite impressive. Tony was responsible for EVERY lead change. He would put the Cowboys ahead then he would put the Giants ahead.

I think Romo was completely numb when we took the lead late. He KNEW exactly what Manning and Co. were about to do: and so did we. They marched right down the field like nobody was on it and got an EASY field goal. He knew they scored too early and there was a lot of time left on the clock. Hey, I do believe there is some validity to the defense affecting the way he plays: I'm DISGUSTED w/ the man and have basically given up on him leading us to the promised land, but two things make me feel pity for him: what happens if Fasano and Crayton catch those balls 2 yrs. ago in the playoff game vs. the GSpots? More importantly what if he had a defense like Pitt/Balt/NEngland? Guess we'll never find out, but I doubt he'd feel the need to chuck the ball around carelessly the way he does........NOT making excuses, just saying.............

...that's no lie. We can't afford to lose anyone on the O-Line, but he may just be the link that keeps the entire chain together.

"Tony is very good at evaluating himself and what he does during a game, both when we have success and when things don't go well. He'll go back and take a critical look. He's not someone who is sensitive to it. Hey this is what happened, this is what I saw, let's move forward from it. He's someone who learns. So he'll learn from this night, but again, he's a heck of a good competitor and for him to battle back and come back through some of the adversity he had and give us a chance, it's the kind of...those are the kind of traits you want in your players and particularly in your quarterback."

Amen.

A huge difference between the words of Tony Romo and the deeds of Tony Romo. Tony is regressing at warp speed. He learns nothing, it seems. He has no confidence and has become a headcase. There are serious warts with this 7 year vet that rookies overcome and he enlarges.

Just brought this up again because you and others on here just attempted to slap down any posters that exhibited the least bit of unhappiness with Romo's play. Romo is not the QB we need (neither is Wade the coach we need either. Mr. Fix-it's defense is not doing worth a durn either). I hate to admit it, but the Cowboys appear to be doomed to a few more years of mediocrity, then it's back to the drawing board - new coaches, new QBs, perhaps back to the 4-3 defense.

The bone-head takes a trip to Cabo during a playoff bye week and invites the press & his blonde with IQ of perhaps 70 to come enjoy the ride.

:laugh2:

ROTFLMAO that says everything you need to know about a guy Tuna warned all of us about. None of our staff seems to care so you are what you are (a sub-500 team in our last several games)

Romo screwed himself up the minute he started studying Tom Brady.

The book on Romo is the same as in his first year--outside the pocket he can be a terrific playmaker. An ad-libber. As a pocket passer, not so much.

And if cutting down on turnovers is the problem, then keeping him in the pocket sure isn't the solution. That's where most of his worst decisions and throws are made. He does much better when he's on the move and not thinking so much.

If the red headed genius can't figure that much out, then he's a football ******. That goes for everyone else, too.
