"Tony is very good at evaluating himself and what he does during a game, both when we have success and when things don't go well. He'll go back and take a critical look. He's not someone who is sensitive to it. Hey this is what happened, this is what I saw, let's move forward from it. He's someone who learns. So he'll learn from this night, but again, he's a heck of a good competitor and for him to battle back and come back through some of the adversity he had and give us a chance, it's the kind of...those are the kind of traits you want in your players and particularly in your quarterback."

Amen.

And one thing to note for everyone say Romo has not changed and he is not learning. Fumbles were a problem for him, he learned and adapted now he is keeping 2 hands on the football while moving around the pocket.

No argument here, he will take his lumps and hopefully he will grow from it. Next week can't get here fast enough so we can shake off some of the crap that the cat drug in.

double amen. I like both of these guys for this very reason. The offense is made of fighters. They are all guys who were low picks, undrafted or struggled early.

The other side of the ball is prima donna central.

Anyone notice how non-ethusiastic Romo was when we took the lead on Felix run?

I don't say that to critique him and claim he's sending this or that wrong message, just that it was very odd.

Unfortunately its the same elementary mistakes he made since he started.
In fact I believe his first start was about the same as last night.
Has he learned anything?
Has he just come full circle?

Yes it was sickening. As a team he should be happy they scored not pout.

There is no doubt in my mind he is willing to learn from his mistakes. I guess its that he just doesn't stay consistent especially in big time games. It is getting to point you don't know which Romo is going to show up on Sunday. The Pro-Bowl player with all the stats & numbers or the Romo that needs to keep learning from his mistakes.

He knew there was a lot of time remaining and that our defense would stunk it up.

I saw that as well. He didn't show no fire or passion yesterday for me. Hopefully he can get it together since it is just week 2.

We get it. You're down on Romo. Give it a rest.

Thank you. Thread after thread after thread of the same droning know nothing crap.

Romo's ability to learn from his mistakes is the reason why, over the last 41 starts, he has more games (23) with a QB rating of 100+ than Brees (19), Brady (17), Peyton (18) or Eli (8). It's also why, over the last 41 meaningful starts, he has a similar number of stinker games under 70. He's at 9, Brees is at 11, Brady is at 5, Peyton is at 7 and Eli is at 15.

He also has 0 playoff wins, want to count the others??? Didn`t think so.
Look I understand people are overreacting with yesterday`s loss but please let`s stop making comparisons with those kind of QB`s.
