Garrett was Workin Over Time trying to blow another game with his incessant passing but the Panthers just wouldn't let him.

Just pound the dog gone rock man!!! Quit being so cute, you're just too witty for Romo and company, keep it simple man.

Solid teams are gonna continue to beat us with this over thinking, tonight the Panthers just beat themselves. After those two duds Romo threw in the endzone, stay puft actually walked over to him, patted him on the back, and it appeared he told him to just run the ball from then on. Wow!!!

What a moral victory over a sub-mediocre team.....

P.S. Garrett needs to buy Newman a swiss watch for saving the day and putting the final nail in the Panthers coffin....

I'm Pro Garrett, and I cant defend this, nor do I want to.

The first fade was a great call. Roy catches that nine times out of ten.

The second call was horrendous. Run the ball in from the one yard line. To me that called seemed like an "F you" call saying he wanted to get the TD passing.

Maybe that's the blatant kind of instance that will make him realize he shouldn't be doing that again.

Right? Easier to learn after a win.

Next time hopefully he'll run it behind big #70.

Techmo reached a new level of stupid tonight.

He has NO FEEL for the game.

zilch.

I didn't like the call, but the pass was there. That one has to be placed at Roy Williams feet solely and not either Garrett's or Romo's.

Do you realize how dumb it is to complain about 1 or 2 play calls out of 70 plays?

Especially when we netted 400+ yds again and over 200 rushing for the 2nd straight week.

RW should have caught the first one, if he had, I suspect someone would still be complaining.

For a #1 receiver, he hasn't made any #1 catches so far.

1 or 2 ROTFLMAO.

there were 2 in one drive at the 1

plus even if it were only 3-4 idiotic plays they are at the worst, momentum killing time.

NO FEEL FOR THE GAME

How do you describe the catch-and-run for the touchdown during the Tampa game?

I'm in your boat trust me, but those 2 plays most likely cost us 4 points.

I can see the frustration.

Roy's pass was perfect but I still HATE THE FADE.

Geez. Come on, guys. I wish Garrett called games a little differently, too, but we WON THE GAME tonight.

The way I see it, every time you can win a game without hitting on all cylinders, it's a plus, not a minus.

Yep. I love fade's near the goal line. I hope they become a staple of our offense.

Just not back-to-back while on the one-yard line.

How is it Garrett's fault that RW didnt make what for him, should have been a routine catch? I do agree the 2nd call was stupid, have no idea what he was thinking.

Also, we dont know for sure we'd have got in anyway. Choice didnt get in earlier from the 1 yd line.

I do think if Barber would have been out there tonight, it would have been runs instead of those 2 fades.

We were facing a team that struggles against the run and in the first half, 21 oassing plays were run and 10 rushes. I'm counting the two runs by Romo as a pass play, becuase that is what it was until it broke down and he had to run.

An OC is supposed to attack the other teams weakness. Carolina is allowing over 160 YPG on the ground. The goal line plays...there's no excuses there.

It happened last week when it was obvious that the Giants couldn't stop the run, and today we came out being pass happy.

there needs to be an OC boot camp that we can send him too. Does he have a little bit TOO much trust in Romo? Possibly. I do too....we've all seen what he can do, but an OC has to also look at what is working DURING the game and the run was kicking their butts last week as well as this week.

Last week, Romo was OBVIOUSLY struggling....an OC HAS to recognize that and call some plays accordingly.

Let's just hope that he really breaks down the Broncos and attacks their weaknesses instead of going at their strengths...

In the end, it is up to the players to execute....but the OC needs to put the players in the best position to succeed as well....throwing low chance passes when you are at the 1 yard line twice in a row is NOT a recipe for success in a low scoring game.....

I understand the need to mix it up...but let's mix in the PASS with the run and not the otherway around.

If Roy had caught the first pass like he should've, we wouldn't be second-guessing Garrett. But I agree we should've ran the ball on both 2nd and 3rd down at the goal line.

Nothing is going to change this year, we're going to pass to set up the run.

Might as well get used to it, because that is our offense.

I hated the call. Yes, the pass was there, but the Panthers' defense was on the field a long time and was exhausted. At that point, ramming the ball down their throats would have resulted in a TD.

I don't mind the fade there but twice when we're running so well makes no sense. These kind of brain farts by red genius can and will cost us games against better team.

I said it all of last week and i'll say it again Garrett need to stick with what's working and stop outsmarting him self
