AgreedWhatever. They made the right call for that point in the game. They go for it and fail you guys would whine about not getting points.

I think this whole, "should have gone for the TD," thing is a perfect example of lemmings jumping on a narrative.
It was 4th and 7. The WRs and QB had multiple issues with handling the ball. There was nearly 7 minutes left in the game and but for good field position from turnovers and a blocked punt NE hadn't done much offensively all game. They in fact got points and the ball back with an opportunity for the lead. That situation was played fine.
Maybe he was worried about the flu.
Probably too embarrassed to admit he doesn’t understand analytics. On 105.3 the fan. Jason Garret was asked about the odds of winning a game, based on analytics, between kicking the last FG or going for it on 4th.
Garret said “we don’t use those numbers during the game”.
I am not the type of person that believes analytics are everything and they are the end all be all. I don’t think you always go with the analytics numbers, because opponent and flow of the game are just as important.
That being said, they don’t use them at all during the game? They don’t at least factor those things in when making the decisions?
That is asinine.
I listened to Charlie Weiss on sirius this morning. He said the patriots don't care about weather and practice in EVERYTHING. He stated if guys thought they wouldn't be able to make it to work the next day due to bad weather, blizzard, etc. They were told to sleep in the stadium or facility.
The fact that 3 of his kids went show he had the connects to someone to get in. All of jim garretts kids work for jerry cuz jerry liked the guy. It's ridiculous.Again, you are just created a version of facts out of thin air to suit what you want to believe. Jim Garrett had no connection to Princeton, and was only connected to the Ivy League briefly, and that was a year AFTER Jason has already been accepted to and attended Princeton.
I don't know why it's so important for you to fabricate this story anyway. Even if Jason were a brilliant Ivy League mind, that doesn't make him any different as a football coach than what he has demonstrated to date. Having been accepted to Princeton had nothing to do with him getting the Cowboy job, and will have nothing to do with him losing it if Jerry finally pulls the trigger on that. So, why do you care, even to the point of manufacturing a false version of facts.
You get the TD you go for 2. Who's playing to tie?In your scenario, you meant to TIE the game. Personally I like kicking the FG there because you did have a chance at actually winning the game with a TD this way. But neither worked because neither factor in the ultimate wildcard the REFS. The refs are like the 2 green spaces on a roulette wheel.
You can simulate the ball at least. Freeze the balls and dip them in water at least. That way dak isn't figuring out the glove mid way through the second quarter. I heard it wasn't the nicest weather on friday in the 40's i believe right? Still practiced inside. Better than the climate controlled practice field garrett had them practice in instead. There was no 30-40 degree weather in Frisco to practice in. lol
Lol no one would do that. Because the response is 3 points don't make that game any closer. still need a td to win.Whatever. They made the right call for that point in the game. They go for it and fail you guys would whine about not getting points.

Bruh ppl gettin locked up right now for flim flammin their kids into good schools lol. Do you live in outer space with wi fi? Let me guess you thought this just started happening but didn't go in the late 80's early 90's.No chance all 3 were good scholar athletes, huh? Why? The "why" is apparently because it doesn't fit what you want to believe, so you simply made up a link to Princeton without one iota of evidence.
I'm aware of this, but the weather can weaken your immune system, making you more prone to catching the virus, but I was mostly joking.Sorry excuse.
The flu is not caused by rain or cold either. It’s caused by a virus. This isn’t the Middle Ages. I think some science can be applied.

Sorry I don't respect any man that rides daddy's coattails to make it. Especially cornballs with no talent. Sorry if your sonss are that way and I'm touching a soft spot.Ohhhh, so now you've decided to fabricate without an iota of evidence that Jim Garrett paid the football coaches to get the kids into Princeton? lol Yep, Lori Laughlin did it, so Jim Garrett had to have done it as well! How can you argue with that logic?
Well, except for the fact that in those recent cases the scholarships were for bogus athletes that didn't actually play a sport, but why worry about facts? That's no fun!
While we are at it, let's get even more dramatic. How about he bought the note to the coach's mom's house and was going to evict her if Princeton didn't take the boys? I mean, if we are just making up whatever we want, why not make it good? Maybe Happy Gilmore can go on the PGA tour and get the money to buy the note!
Except you are just making that up. lol You keep throwing this out without even the slightest shred of evidence.Sorry I don't respect any man that rides daddy's coattails to make it. Especially cornballs with no talent. Sorry if your sonss are that way and I'm touching a soft spot.

I agree, practicing in the expected conditions whenever possible is the only not stupid thing to do.fair enough. I think the benefits of preparation for the conditions, far outweighs the weakening of the immune system. Especially considering they are all 20-30 year old adults in peak physical condition and not elderly
