Jason on 105.3 radio this Morning , I'm sure someone will recap entire interview but right off the bat he says TWill is put in that position every day in practice and that he made a mistake and went inside. He said depending on the clock he had no problem sending Bailey in there from that distance.

I don't believe it. No way they practice this and T-Will did what he did. You expect a pro to have game awareness so this on T-Will, but I don't think they've done this drill. Dunbar made the same mistake. Not calling Garrett a liar, but I think he's covering his butt on this one.

I grew up watching the Cowboys set trends and innovate. No more.

It's unreal the direction this team has taken since Jimmy Johnson left. And it's clear the Jerry Jones has zero respect for real coaching like we got from Parcells. While not perfect, Parcells sent this organization in the right direction that slowly dissipated after he left, just as with Johnson.

Watching New England perform so well, and win again, while missing Brady, Gronkamole, OL-men, and others is a testament to the hard work of the head coach, the assistants and scouts. New England is always disciplined, focused and prepared.

Jerry has had Romo for over ten years, and has completely wasted his career trying to fulfill his fantasy of being a football guru. The problem comes when you don't put in Ted Thompson time, or Bill Belichick time scouring the earth for undiscovered talent so you don't have to take risks in the second or third rounds of the draft.

His training of JG is a failure, and he doesn't have the maturity to find a real coach and a real GM. Because, as he's told us through the media, he wants credit for building a winner. Wants that more than anything, even winning.

But this team's situation won't change, and the result will continue to be .500 football.

He would have had to go backwards to get out of bounds, and then we'd be in hail mary territory anyways so, really, the point is moot.

The bigger issue is that JG had an outside receiver running an inside comeback route that didn't get him into FG range with less than :15 on the clock and no timeouts. That route is going to essentially end the game 100% of the time.

Garrett said the same thing immediately after the game. It was ignored in the immediate scrum bashing, but it isn't like this is a new quote.

And I believe they do practice this. What coach wouldn't practice this stuff? JG isn't the greatest coach, but this is basic stuff. T-Will had a brainfart. Period.

Edit - I misremembered the route. The throw was behind TW, causing him to stop. If that ball leads him, I bet he goes straight out of bounds.

Broaddus also said that he sees that this situation was practiced when he was watching. He has been pretty critical of Garrett. This one is on T Williams.

We practiced this when I was coaching middle school. I'm sure it's practiced a bunch during the boys 2 minute drill. Cmon people. And besides it ain't rocket science. He had to know to get out of bounds just by virtue of the situation. He's a damn pro football player for gosh sakes
