First I want to really gloat a little bit here, there were just so many people who thought Bosa or Ramsey should be the pick and they even went further saying Morris should start the season. These are the same type of people who think Dak who is doing a commendable job should replace a top 5 QB in the league.

Simple is the only word I have for it.

Let's go back to Elliott. This kid is a beast and he didn't even get his touches. I wonder if Garrett told him to stop the feed me gesture. They got kind of cute putting Morris in late in the 4th. The game certainly hadn't been won yet. He continues to be the league leader in rushing yards, his touchdown numbers are increasing, and if he can stay healthy and continue to improve I think hands down he is going to be the best running back in the league, and certainly worth the 4th overall pick.

Now back to Dak. As I said he is doing a great job. He should be commended, the front office should be for picking him as well. I'm glad we drafted him in the 4th instead of wasting a first rounder on a QB, because the fact is Romo is still the franchise here. We went into this game 2nd in the league in rushing yards, and 10th in the league in points allowed. We're 21st in the league in passing yards... Dak is at the moment a bus driver who can use his legs to move the chains and score. We have yet to lean on him and ask him to win the game with his arm.

If it weren't for Elliott this team isn't 4-1. With Romo we're 5-0.

Marinelli is doing a great job with this defense, and it really seems as though getting Lawrence back has helped elevate this defense to another level. The secondary is playing so well, we're in a position where you basically have to re-sign Carr and Claiborne because they're playing so well.

I'm glad we didn't listen to the over reactors who wanted to get rid of Marinelli and Linehan... I love the Cowboys but the fans and the media are textbook over reactors. Even heard people saying that we no longer need Dez Bryant.

I said early in the offseason that if we got Elliott this team would win a super bowl within the next two years. That still depends on Romo, but this team is showing you right now that they can take care of business without their stars. That's very new, but it is also very reassuring. When we start playing better teams, we'll need Romo and Dez, and if you think otherwise, you don't know football.

This team is 4-1 and I don't anticipate the Packers beating us, but they'll need to continue to ramp up the pass rush and run the ball more.

I don't even know where to start with this. Wow.

Garrett appeared to say something to Elliott after he did his feed me gesture one time too many.

Completely disagree with most of this. You are another fan who is ignoring Romo's performance last year. It was dreadful. Offense runs efficiently and just keeps moving the ball down the field with Dak at the helm. Time to move on. Dak is more than a bus driver, that should be obvious.

Thing is, when Romo is in we get away from playing this type of efficient offense too easily. Team gets all "Romo friendly" and cute and mistakes lose us games. Dak is forcing them to lean onto their strength, reduce the over-the-top line calls, and get results.

Tony Romo is 15-4 in his last 19 games, but yes, keep telling yourself that he was the problem in Dallas.

Were you asleep for all of 2014? Romo is 15-4 in his last 19 games...

No offense but what you said is silly as well.

Romo played in what, 4 games? He was so-so in Game One, but he sometimes doesn't have strong games in Game One. He got hurt in Game Two. He came back and played OK in the Miami game and then in his second game back he got hurt against a dominated Carolina defense.

Anyone putting any stock in that 4 game sample and reaching the conclusion that he's cooked, is just being stupid IMO.

That's not meant to be a slight of Prescott. It's a tough call to make, no doubt. But this desire by some of you to throw dirt on Romo is bizarre to me.

lmao.. pure speculation. Romo never went 5-0 in his 10 year as a starter, and now he would have gone 5-0? Please. He would no doubt in my mind thrown multiple game ending interceptions

Maybe Romo isn't done maybe he is but it's foolish to think Romo is the same player he was in 2014. Dak is playing really well, you can't deny it. And not only that you can't say he is a bus driver because he makes safe decisions with the ball. He gave us a chance to win against the Giants but recievers let him down all game. Against San Francisco he came back from 14-0 to win. Sure Zeke is helping but a big reason for 4-1 is because of Dak......

That being said you only speculating that Romo would be 5-0. Like if I said Romo wouldn't have made it out the first game without injury that is speculating. It could happen or it could not. What we know without speculating is this team is coming together with Dak and Zeke leading the way. I'm not so sure it's a good idea to just bring Romo back if we are still playing this way and we are only getting better each and every game. Even our defense pitched a shut out until garbage time when we went conservative

5 TDs and 7 picks right 79 QBR. This is good?

No it's not good but it's a 4 game sample for chrissakes.

And two of them he was coming off an injury to his collarbone. Putting any stock in those two games is silly.

Do I really have to name all the games hes choked by throwing game ending INTs? Do I really have to? Cause I will be here all night.

Yes. Let's. Start listing all the games he's lost over the years throwing game ending interceptions.

Listening to you, there must be at least 2-3 dozen games he's blown with late game interceptions.

Seriously:huh:? This really isn't the time to take shots at Dak.
