Trouty, I can make the distinction between people inquiring, speculating and just wishful thinking, all of which I have zero problem with.

My issue is when folks start speaking as if they are privy to Jaylon's medical status and records and make authoritative claims and prognosis, which is what Doc50 has done on this thread and more egregiously on another.

I don't buy for one second any real medical doctor with scruples would make the claims he has and say the things he has knowing he has no inside knowledge of Jaylon outside of what we all know.

I understand that, but you should, then, too. And, thus, take these updates for what they're worth. You, fully aware of what may or may not be accurate, should be less inclined to react than those that don't, in theory.

Thank you, Cal, for the correct, I was sad lol :)

Do you know going into these threads that you will get layman's advice and perspective, yes or no? And please stay with me here, Tyke.

We're talking MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS not whether Coach Garrett should have called a pass or run on third and 4.

What do you mean what? People are offering their opinions on whether Jaylon Smith will be ready by this year, whether his nerve is or isn't firing, etc. Those pronouncements involve medical diagnosis. And you would either have to be a doctor or privy to JS's medical records to know this.

Yet, when people doubt what is being said, posters in here are getting angry and insulting because we don't think they have the expertise to reach such conclusions.

But then, y'all in turn get angry. Just don't click on the thread. Easy peasy, Tyke. Stop stressing yourself out, brudda.

Jaylon has been diagnosed.
Everybody knows what he has.

This is just trying to figure out how he is doing based on available info.
This is mostly looking for inconsistency in the information available to us.
It is not rocket science, but I am no MD nor PhD.

Fuzzy is just a really smart guy and his analysis has been pretty close to what the Doc said.
A number of years ago, I wrote a business plan (including the technical section) for a few PhDs who were trying to do a biotech startup involving nerve regeneration and other regeneration based biomedical devices.
So I am comfortable guessing, but again feel free to ignore whatever I write.
Any time I am unsure, I run back to the PhDs or send the BAT signal to doc50 etc.

If you find this scary, I routinely self-diagnosed with my MD friends on the phone for over 10 years.
I am actually still alive...
In this case, it is too bad they are neither neurologists nor orthopedic surgeons.
