This was a shrewd move, and even though it has gone under the radar, it is one that has helped solidify their bench. All he has done is come in and give solid minutes to that 2nd unit.
They were already a tough draw when healthy, he makes them even moreso.....

MC KAos;4497037 said:ya, i dont think they would beat any of the top 4 teams (well, maybe the clippers) but its pretty much a death sentence for the second round
Cowboys&LakersFan;4497043 said:Well tough 1st rounds aren't necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes it helps because it gives you that challenge you need to go on a championship run. See 2010 Lakers and 2011 Mavs. Sometimes having it too easy will come back to bite you like it did for the 2009 Cavs and 2010 Magic.
Ha! No worries, I figured this would be the best of both worlds. We can freely talk about our Thunder without it getting derailed... or causing them to superstitiously lose. Hmmm, then again... When did I make this thread and when did they start that 3 game losing streak? Eek!Chocolate Lab;4494240 said:What a great game in Miami tonight. That was awesome. Maybe the best game of the year.
And hey EnR, I never made that Thunder thread because I knew it would get derailed anyway. Plus I admit to a tad of superstition... They've been doing fine without one.

Eastern Conference Finals:

I hope you're right about MVP. Right now, I'd say that LeBron has a slight advantage over KD. But I'm hoping that this last stretch of games tips it in KD's favor. The Heat have a couple of marquee games against the Celtics and Bulls this week. If the Heat lose those, I think it's KD's award. And if they win, LeBron probably wins it.Cowboys&LakersFan;4500943 said:MVP: Durant
WCF: SA vs OKC (Spurs in 6)
ECF: Miami vs Chicago (Bulls in 6)

And I agree with you on the final 4 teams (although I go back and forth with putting Memphis in there instead of San Antonio). I have Chicago and OKC in the Finals. With OKC winning.
MC KAos;4501514 said:NO!!! no more lakers/celtics!
but on a related note, i think the team that draws the celtics between the heat and bulls in the second round will basically be kissing their chances at the finals goodbye. it doesnt matter who wins that series, either the celtics or the heat/bulls will be so worn out from that slugfest that the other team in the conference finals (bulls/heat) will just finish them off! thats why i hope its the celtics/heat
