Glad he is closer to his playing weight. Vegan diets are not sustainable in a football setting. Others have tried. Too much valuable protein and amino acids that are not available in vegan diets.

We finally get a fatty up the middle and now he's losing weight? Thanks a lot Zeke! McCoy probably got so disgusted looking at fat Zeke that McCoy decided he didn't want to end up like that in life and lost weight.

No longer true, but like you, there are many people (including NFL teams) who still feel this way.

There are several NFL players who are vegans now. Nutritionists have come up with meal plans and vitamin supplements that make up for the deficiencies you are talking about.

Bottom line is we need a young player to step up. McCoy is nothing more than a stop gap.

He's a name that has seen better days as a player. He might give us a good year and he might not. Either way we need Hill or Gallimore to come on strong.

Is Rod Marinelli still here as D-Coordinator or did I miss something? Why would McCoy be allowed to become a vegan and lose so much weight?
He avoided detection by the diet police the Cowboys put in his house by slipping any meat on his plate under the table for the dog to eat.

It's funny you take this stance on an older player at DT, but at QB you think don't think age matters and you like the older guy that would only be a stop gap.

Me no likey. We need fat boys at 1T and 3T. He needs to go hang out at Golden Corral for 4-5 hours per day until training camp. :muttley:

Yeah baby..

Fried fish, fried chicken, chicken fried steak, the dessert bar.

Rinse..

Bathroom

Repeat.

July arrives..in July.

Plenty of time if you are willing to work at getting fat.

Get a Golden Corral Credit Card.

Makes a wonderful holiday gift.

Never starve again.

Hoping its Hill. Heard Gallimore did better lining up in 1tech slot at Oklahoma.

It’s impossible for someone to maintain a pure vegan diet when they do something as strenuous as play professional football hence the reason he went back to a normal diet.

Don’t care about the weight loss as long as it doesn’t affect his ability to stuff the run.

We need football...STAT! The draft is over, we have 8,000 worn out Dak threads, and we’ve been reduced to over analyzing the miniscule weight loss of a 30-something vegan DT.

In a few weeks we will have threads that Jason Garrett told Dak Prescott to go vegan, and its part of the contract negotiations.

Losing weight definitely gives him more of the versatility Nolan likes in his linemen. I wondered before, but if he intends to play at this weight I suspect the team really does envision him playing outside some.

McCoy - Poe - Gallimore - Lawrence

I can get with that in some packages.
