But they shouldn't respect the Cowboys. They beat them twice. They should expect to beat them again. I have no problem with it. The fact that they're out and the Cowboys are still in could mean nothing more than the date they each played the Packers.

They don't have to respect us, but they should respect the asswhoopin' the Packers just laid on them.

Shouldn't be Pugh be on suicide watch for OBJ?

Talking smack after getting laid out is classic Giant's behavior.

can't wait to hear them meltdown after we win the SB.

btw, is Pugh picking up for Justin Tuck as being the annoying, mouthy, Cowboy trash talker?

I really don't get it. Why are Giants' players so arrogant? I mean, it's not just with this team, but recent teams as well. Is it the media hype that is egging them on? Is it the fans buying into the predominantly New York-based media hype, therefore, motivating the players to talk and act as arrogantly as they do? Perhaps it's deep rooted Cowboys hatred (which we do not reciprocate anymore, unfortunately). Or, maybe it's jut the culture. I just don't get it.

It's easy to say what you would have done when you know you will never actually have to do it. He can say whatever he wants to from his couch.
Yeah, I could claim that I could QB the Cowboys to a win, there is a 0% chance I will be the QB this week, but that is exactly the same chance that the Giants will be playing the Cowboys this week.

The bolded part of that sentence is the key part...not the last bit about points..
I mean, yes, a win is a win. But either game could have been a win for us with just one less penalty, or a lucky bounce. That shouldn't make any team (or fans) worry about playing them a 3rd time, which you know this thread is about.

Seems like an empty comment from an offense that scored 10 points on the Dallas defense last time out. I know it's a team game but the Giants offense had more negative plays than positive ones last time they faced Dallas.

It'd be like Luc Longley talking crap about the Bulls winning titles in the 90s.

It depends. It should be a worry because a loss has already happened, twice. It can clearly happen again.

Now, the fact that it's close means that the other team is not unbeatable and the Cowboys should not feel intimidated, but at this point, every game is worrisome, and playing a team you have had 2 shots at and failed is not exactly encouraging in a single-elimination tournament.

It has everything to do with us winning the division, having the best regular season of any team in the NFC and securing a first round bye.

According to Giants offensive lineman Justin Pugh, the Cowboys should be thankful for that matchup.

"They're lucky that we didn't go beat the Green Bay Packers," Pugh said Monday. "If we were going to come to Dallas, we were going to beat them (the Cowboys) a third time."

And while Pugh fully believes his Giants could have beaten the Cowboys one more time, he said after his brief trash-talk that he was in no position to trash-talk at all.

"I actually can't really say that because we didn't take care of our business," he added. "I hope the Packers beat them."

Maybe you should have focused on not stinking against the Packers.

So if you think giants can talk because they beat us, then the same can be said about Dallas and the packers since we actually spanked them......not by 1 and 3 points by the way

Is there an organization that talks more trash from the top down then the Giants? I used to think it was a Tom Coughlin thing but that obviously wasn't it.

What a bunch of idiots.

These guys can get whooped on by the Packers and they will still talk trash and keep the Cowboys name in their mouth. You can't even make this up.....
