Giants after D Hall...Hall officially on the block *Merge*

With their top two free-agent targets wearing pricey franchise tags, the Giants are trying another route toward getting a top cornerback: A trade with the Atlanta Falcons for two-time Pro Bowler DeAngelo Hall.
According to two people with knowledge of preliminary discussions between the teams, the Giants are willing to give Atlanta their first-round pick (31st overall) in April's draft in exchange for Hall. The people requested anonymity because of the private nature of the trade talks.

Now if they get him that would just suck. Ross is going to be a good one and d hall will as well and they are just 24. I say we give up our 28 for him. Im not a hall fan but if he goes to the Giants it just wouldnt be good for us down the road. Hopefully jerry can make something happens and please nobody comment about his attitude. That crap is blown way out of porportion. T.o has burned him a couple times but D hall is still a stud hopefully none of this goes through.

Its funny reading there forum everybody seems to love the idea of giving up a first rounder for a 2 time pro bowler but on here everybody says no and says hes overrated and talks all the bad crap about him blah blah blah. burst? where was that? i saw running 3/4 speed to set up his blocks and basically tippy toed his was into the endzone. i never saw this "burst" you speak of...

I for one don't want to see the Giants start stockpiling CBs to go along with that ridiculous pass rush. Aaron Ross had a very good rookie year, and the Giants aren''t going to find anyone close to Hall's caliber with the 31st pick. He's an unlikable loudmouth, but it's not like they're not used to those.

Well said put it this way if hall goes to new york and ross improoves again, i can see us having serious trouble against them ecspecially since flo is gone. Hall is very good and he would be a good fit there. But w/e they got some cap space and they deserve it they drafted extremely well

Roy sucks at coverage and has lost his edge at hitting yet still makes the pro bowl. SO your using pro bowls as a reason for hall being good holds no water at all.
