He want's big money that I don't personally think he's worth, Plus a first rounder to boot? For that kind of Money you could get Samuel and keep your first round pick.JMO

I heard an interview yesterday with his head coach, who said he wants Hall to be in Atlanta for a long, long time.

If I misread you I apologize. It just seemed like you were doing a slow burn and in more than 1 thread.

Nah, no biggy man. It's all good and it's all entertaining and fun here. No harm no foul, I say.

Glad to hear that.

Some people mistake differing opinions for a personal thing.

yes, Hall will have a pass-rush to help protect him, but he'll still get burnt, because he doesn't always guess right, esp. against QBs who are great against the blitz, like our own Tony Romo

I would love to face him twice a year

Putting aside the questions about whether or not he is overrated, I would question the Giants making this move. They already have a locker room full of strong personalities between Jacobs, Burress, Pierce, Strahan, Shockey, etc. For their run last year, they managed to jettison two of the "trouble makers" in Tiki Barber and Shockey... everyone was talking about how you could see the difference in the demeanor of the team.

Now they want to get a guy who is probably worse than all those guys? It's a questionable move before even considering that Hall might be overrated.

Wow, the Giants win the Super Bowl and don't get the benefit of the doubt about their potential moves. Yeah, I guess they don't know what they're doing in Giant-land.....

You guys need to watch him more before you defend him. There is a REASON why Atlanta wants him gone.

The reason is because Atlanta is clearing out the old, and starting fresh. They feel he needs a fresh start, after all that has happened with Vick, and him arguing with the coach.

Btw. I live in Atl, and I am a Giants fan. So i hear the Sports Radio daily.

Giants have a bright future with Ross, and if Webb plays like he did the last 5 games of the season our 2ndry will be very good. Our biggest weakness is Butler the Safety, and we need to resign Gibril. If we get lucky we can pick up another Safety in the draft in the 2nd round, or FA.

Personally i would be very happy to get Hall if his attitude changes, not a huge fan of it, since he defended vick. The coaching arguement he got not too certain why that happened, so thats up in the air, but if he changes his attitude he is very well tailored for the giants defense. Since now with Spags they play a Press coverage, and Hall is known for that. So add Ross, Hall, and Web is a scary thought.

Lets not forget about Madison, who came on very strong at the end as well. He was hurt the year before with the Fins, and they werent playing him press which is what he was comfortable playing in. Soon as he got better and started to play his old style of press he played very well for us.

We have a very scary defense. We just need to get another Safety, resign Gibril, and maybe get lucky with Hall.

Hall is over rated and a total head case. He wants big money that he has never shown the production to justify. TO is drooling at the thought of him being there to abuse. So let the Giants do it.
