Did you watch the Thanksgiving game. He protects the corners. Dak threw interceptions because he would fake the blitzes. Blitzing is the last thing you do against Dak.

I keep hearing this about their secondary, but are we going to exploit it, is there a plan to do so?

I've never been a fan of people saying this, these are NFL athletes, they wouldn't be on a roster if they didn't have some form of talent to their game. I'm not saying suspect corners are great, but are they obsolved from making plays just because they're suspect?

Time will tell in the game how bad they are. I've seen times where this team went against suspect corners, and they did good against us. Please give your thoughts

50/50 ball was a zone defense. You are talking about two plays the Giants did not blitz all game they bet on their front 4. You don’t blitz the Cowboys or Dak lights you up.

No, both were man coverage.

Neither was actually a blitz, but that's immaterial to your point, because neither had to do with zone coverage and scheme didn't cause either INT.

Martindale blitzes a ton, but it's still less than 40%. The idea that he protects his corners is nonsense.

He better protect them Sunday or the Cowboys will light them up. The Giants played coverage against Minnesota in the playoffs. We need to run them out of coverage.

Exactly.

They can generate pass rush with Kayvon, Williams, Boogie, Simmons and Ojulari.

They can stuff the run with Lawrence, Williams, Robinson and Davidson.

They improved at linebacker when they signed Okereke.

They do have decent safety play with McKinney and McCain.

Banks will be a shut down guy. But will be prone to growing pains the same as Hawkins.

We need to have our guys win their 1 on 1s and we should get out of their with a win.

McCain is the 3rd strong safety. Pinnock is the starter. Belton is 2nd team.

If the Giants secondary is suspect, we’ll see if we’re sharp enough offensively to take advantage of it. The real concern I have going into this game is how our offense is going to look. It usually takes longer for the offense to come around than the defense. We have a new offense and play caller, and we didn’t give our starters any live game reps during the preseason. Last year in the opener our offense, including Dak was awful! I’m going to be holding my breath as to how we’re going to look offensively. I’m fully expecting we’re going to have to work out a few kinks. This is a pretty critical opener going up against a division opponent. Division games can really come back to haunt you late in the season. We can’t afford to drop this one.

Not every one needs affirmation of the reality of momentums in each and every game.

Dallas is better right now. Doubt that or just a doubter?

Even that isn't the view coming up this week end. How do you then rate this game straight up?
