Giants CB's are Suspect?

I keep hearing this about their secondary, but are we going to exploit it, is there a plan to do so?

I've never been a fan of people saying this, these are NFL athletes, they wouldn't be on a roster if they didn't have some form of talent to their game. I'm not saying suspect corners are great, but are they obsolved from making plays just because they're suspect?

Time will tell in the game how bad they are. I've seen times where this team went against suspect corners, and they did good against us. Please give your thoughts

I don't see how they can keep up with the Cowboys WR corps. WCO also helps them get a lot more separation than previous offense did. This was also something that was asked about in Daboll's pc.

So, 2 of the 3 are rookies.
Advantage Dallas.
Martindale's press man corners and pressure package/blitz philosophy plays into what this offense does best.

At least from last year.

I don't put much stock in that either. All corners are suspect if the QB is given a lot of time. All corners are good if their pass rush is effective. Some corners are better than others. The variable is time in the pocket.

If that's the case, all the times he's thrown for 350, 400 yards was against good secondaries?

They are suspect and I fully expect them to be exposed. I feel like maybe a big debut for Cooks.

The reason there are two rookies is because they played well and won the jobs in the preseason.

They are suspect because it has yet to be proven of they can do it in the regular season.

Banks was their 1st round pick who they traded up for. So he has lived up to his billing.

Hawkins is the surprise. Won the job as a 7th round pick. He is their Daron Bland.

In this league you are "suspect" until you prove you can play at the same level as the very good players across the League that play at your position. They are rookies in the NFL and haven't had to endure the "experience" learning curve. I doubt neither will come out their 1st game being a Deion Sanders or even a Stephon Gilmore or Trevon Diggs. Once they prove themselves they are no longer "suspect".

Common sense tells us they have a ways to go to becoming a competent CB. We, as an offense, should exploit this.

It's the internet age. You can type out 3 words and look for yourself. As has already been mentioned, 2 of the 3 are rookies and last year's 3RP is busting.

I think that is the big advantage that any team has going into the game. CeeDee, Cooks, Gallup, and Tolbert vs an average Adoree Jackson and two rookies. It is important that we run the ball to make the safeties come up.

I think this game will come down to pass protection and stopping the run. In other words, the offensive line that plays the best, or the defensive line that plays the best, will win the game.
