Giants' Umenyiora hurts knee, carted off field *Out for year*

I will never forget one time they got a sack on Romo in that playoff game and he had this feces-eating-grin on his face. I liked him before that, hated him ever since. I'd never wish a big injury like what this could be on him though.

Still, you guys are messed up to like a guy whose job is to hit our QB! ;)

If he hits Romo and Romo is the one with the knee injury, you still like him?

Well of course not. :D But right now, can't knock his effort and his play on the field which is why i like him.

An x-ray wouldn't show much.

The MRI will be the real deal.

The nfc east is getting hammered with injuries. Can we just get these stupid games over with already.

Yep, X-ray just says nothing is broken but doesn't tell you anything about ligaments.

Yeah sometimes it's amazing how sprains turn in to tears after an mri

Real simple... He's a good player...

Umenyiora? Wow! All he does is cause problems for offensive lineman.

I agree with you. I have taped games and the freshest on my mind now is last season taped games, which my son has been watching and rewatching the tapes all summer, Osi was manhandled all 3 games by Flo, we had no problems with him this past season.

Osi caused problems for other teams O lineman.

Yep, you're absolutely correct. Osi did nothing against us. Actually their entire Dline did nothing against us except for the 4th qtr of the playoff game. Our oline handled them well in all 3 game, again, except that 4th qtr...

That and losing Umenyiora hurts their depth. They lost some depth with the Strahan retirement and losing Osi means that both starting DE's don't return to the lineup this year.

why do you guys like osi so much? he's so cocky and runs his mouth constantly.

Yeah I am with you on this one.
I think he is a closet Cowboy wannabe though.

Injuries are part of the game. If he goes down... he goes down. I wont flinch.

If a doctor wants me to get an MRI, he'd best find me one of those "open" MRIs I've read about... either that, or about six REAL big guys to force me into that tube...

They should count on at least 3 of them needing MRIs of their own before they get the job done...

Giants coach Tom Coughlin said of DE Osi Umenyiora’s knee, “The doctors told me there was no ligament damage.”

Good to hear a good player isn't seriously hurt. I want them at full strength went they have to realize whose their DADDY is. Pay back is a bee-ouch!

Unless they already had done an MRI, there is no way to really tell.

Mortensen said Osi could have a possibly serious knee injury with significant ligament damage.

And then he said some in the organization are going to try and lure Strahan out of retirement or move Kiwanuka.
