Watt is a 245 pound 3-4 outside linebacker, so he wouldn't hold up in our 4-3.

I thought Watt was no-brainer pick and Dallas got too-cute worrying about if he would hold up in 4-3. Just draft guys who can get to QB period. I still think Taco can be good player in few seasons.

The interior collapsed the pocket. All Watt did on that play was sustain his lane. QB bailed out of the pocket right into Watts' hands. That's not a sack if the interior didn't collapse the pocket.

And I wanted Watt as well. But it wasn't a great play by him.

We should have. I wanted him over Taco but we got what we got. Who knows what happens.

I'll say it again. If Harbaugh and that demanding defensive staff at Michigan couldn't get it out of Taco, then he's probably maxed out already.

I'm on record wanting Watt but come on. Those plays should be made by virtually every defensive lineman suiting up.

I'm not putting Watt in the Hall of Fame based on one preseason game, just like I'm not tossing Taco Charlton into the garbage based on one preseason game. The Giants haven't blocked anybody in years.

Jason Taylor who was just inducted to HOF played at that weight in 4-3. How did that turn out? I think we need to stop typecasting players and just draft them on their ability to get to QB.
