Just said in his press conference that they will be sending in tapes to the league of penalties called on them that they don't think were right. This is an every week thing now and just a bunch of wussy excuses. Gibbs has lost a lot of respect in my book, he is nothing but a big crybaby!!!!

On one hand I can see how this makes Gibbs look like a total wussy.

But on the other hand, he is right that the officiating has been horrible in the NFL the last couple of years so by being persistent maybe he can help to get something done in that regard.

He'd probably be taken more seriously if he sent tape of ALL penalties he thought were questionable, even the ones that benefitted his team.

This guy is really becoming a punchline. I used to have as much respect for gibbs as I did for anyone but now, from his constant complaining and excuse making and his comments last year I have lost a great deal of respect for him.

I hope he sends in the hit brunell where he is throwing the ball and ware tackles him and gets called for roughing the passer, because that led to 3 points and was completely ridiculous. I am sure that gibbs is sending that in right???

There you go! You want to complain about officiating, hey go right ahead. But be sure & complain about the bogus calls that went against the Cowboys as well.

Or, here's an idea. Act like Parcells does (& most coaches do) & realize that some calls benefit the Boys & some benefit the other guy. It all balances out. The trick is to try to play well enough that the bad calls don't matter.

Gibbs has learned that if he whines enough, he gets attention. Plus, look at who his owner is. Talk about a whiner!

Let him keep it up, it's been working great so far...........

And Gibbs, make sure you send all of them in to the league.

Including that bogus roughing call and the hold that apparently wasn't because Jansen didn't do a "good enough job of it".......

Every team compiles a list of controversial penalties and sends it to the league office. The only difference is that Gibbs is the only head coach who discusses them at press conferences.

Just wondering, I'm not trying to start an argument or anything, but how do you know this?

It wouldn't surprise me if it were true, but how do you know it's true?

Hopefully they just toss the tapes.

They probably have a special file for Gibbs' weekly mailings.

He was probably already on his laptop on the plane ride home, pecking out a letter.

Parcells said last year that he has never done that.

Adam, a little OT, but can you verify whether or not Ware has or hasn't lined up as a DE in our nickel Defense this year? Has he lined up as a LB in our nickel at all this year?

As far as I know, he's been a DE in our nickel D every time we've put our nickel D on the field. But you've got all this on tape so you'd know better then I do (I stopped recording games cuz they kept losing when I did it. I'm a little superstitious).

Im listening to D.C. radio right now. Al Cokin is taking gibbs to task for this. He's saying gibbs continues to make excuses, and the players are buying into the excuse making. Gatorade gibbs needs to give it up.

Gibbs to the ref:

"Hey fella. Do you know who I am? Huh? Do you? I'm a Hall of Famer, buddy. Canton, Ohio. I'm big time. People listen to me. I can make one phone call and you'll be reffing six-man football games in South Dakota."

Yep. I agree Rack. I think somebody's gotta do it. I think they should all do it and not wait until the end of the season in a brainstorm effort to fix what they already did. Pointless.
