I thought about starting another thread, but this is relevant enough to this one, I guess.
In his PC today, Gibbs was attempting to call out some good things about the team. He subsequently cited their - quote - "Excellent" two-minute drive at the end of the game.
Let me tell you, Smokin Al on Sportstalk 980 ripped him a new one. Basically called him a pathetic enabler, who was encouraging his team to excuse their poor play, by excusing their penalties, and coddling them when they tell him the refs make the right call. You don't see any other coach in the league *****ing like this. Parcells, when asked about the obvious offensive PI on Henry vs JAX, merely said "I think the officials did a fine job."
Gibbs wouldn't know good sportsmanship and "being a man about it" if it smacked him in the face and said "Listen, crybaby! I'm Good-Sportsmanship. Don't you knwo who I am?!?!?!?!"
