get him stronger, work on his hand placement and I'm sure some other fine technical aspects, this guy should be a strong a candidate to start at RT in 2016, if not sooner. Can't believe folks were freaking out after 2 practices before the NFL coaching even really takes effect.

Very nice. Now just make sure he eats, sleeps, breathes the weight room for the next couple of seasons. Pollack will fix the rest of him on the practice field.

But he allowed sacks on the fake rookie minicamp QB and was holding air a lot. So that other stuff means nothing.

Rookie minicamp is about introducing prospects to the Cowboy way and not about execution. It's 2-a-days with a session with Woicik and Bech in between. His conditioning was the issue not his talent.

Garrett and Marinelli seem to favor throwing prospects into the fire and sink or swim. Struggles early are commonplace. Guys like Martin are the exception and not the rule.

I've got nothing against Chaz, but I watched the draft go by and saw OL after OL go through the 1st 3 rounds. Even though draft position isn't a lock as an indicator of future performance, I have to think that if he was really slated to start any time soon, he'd have gone earlier. 20 other O linemen were picked before him, so that tempers my expectations. If he's able to play to Free's level in 2 years, that'll do.

After landing Jones, Gregory and Collins, I think of the rest of the draft as gravy. We have some good prospects drafted in rounds 3-7, but if those 3 guys pan out like we hope, the 2015 draft will go down as a great one regardless on the rest of the guys.

The only problem is , is that Brandt was observing DJ Humphries and not Chaz Green. Just kidding. This is good news and I hope he can remain healthy, get stronger and become overall a better player.

He will be on hot seat because most cowboy fans associate that 3rd round pick as one Dallas should have traded up slightly to get RB.

Yeah, well whoopdeedoo, we lost Murray and now have no one capable of running the ball. Doesn't matter if we have 5 all-pros blocking because Murray is gone and we won't be able to run the ball ever. :)

Wonder?

It was his injury history. Little to wonder about if you're paying attention.

You know all about guys like Hitchens last year (giggle) but you don't even know about Green?

You attempted to sound smart. You failed.

The consensus opinion wasn't really talented player but often injured. If it was, you'd have a point. It wasn't, so you don't.

Says the guy who says Hitch can't play.

Makes you wonder how you can put up that kind of performance at a school like Florida and be so lightly regarded in the draft.

Reports were that he was going to be drafted higher than the cottage industry expected and there were concerns about Cummings foot and Collins freedom pushing him up the prospect list. Nevermind that OL have been overdrafted for years now according to said cottage industry. When Flowers went 9 it should have been a clue.
