Agenda based bias much?

Look at what is actually there. Hitchens is a Steal of a pick far from a JAG his Rookie Season. I've seen flip flopping from the 1st to the 7th in every draft and topic that fluctuates with time. Gimme a Break, lets see what Chaz does don't you have something else more relevant to complain about before your foot gets stuck again.

Seriously? Twenty other lineman went ahead of him so it's impossible to think he'll start soon? I hope you realize the QB wasn't drafted and the stud free agent DE who had 15 sacks two years ago was drafted in the sixth.
If Green stays healthy he starts in his second year.

Yep. Impossible. That's exactly what I said. You have excellent reading skills. </sarcasm>

Murray was a third round selection and he dropped two rounds because of injuries. :hammer:

Murray was never a first round back in anyone minds but Oklahoma homers.

True, a lot of the draft pundits (and people on this board) hated the pick in the 3rd round. But the Cowboys said he was rated a full round higher than any other player on their board at the time, so he was probably a solid 2nd rounder for them.

I can agree with that, good point.

Hitch is a JAG. I'll remind you of this later when even you know it.

Now back to your initial response. Where you, who don't even know the player, are pretending he was a top talent who was lightly regarded because of injury. Cedric Ogbuehi suffered a serious knee injury last year. Yet he never left anyone's top 50 and was drafted in the first round. Because Ogbeuhi was viewed as a top talent. Teams will risk the pick if the talent is there.

So, back to my original correct statement that you just didn't understand because I forgot more about the draft than you'll know. I wonder why a guy who could put up those kind of stats at a school like Florida could be so lightly regarded?

Don't misunderstand. I'm not asking you directly. That would be a waste of my time.

RS jsut stop on the Hitchens is a Jag stuff. His likely starting this year
and got what 900 snaps last year
your a really good draftnik but you fix on a player value grade
and something falls short in looking at a player play and just
saying hum that grade wasnt right 'dude can ball"

I do appreciate your material you put together your a plus to the board

Doubling down when the evidence points elsewhere is not always in ones best interest.

Green has looked awful so far but I'll wait until he gets healthy and on grass before making even a preliminary judgment. It generally takes a year or two for rookies like him to start playing well. Being All Pro your first year is an aberration for an OL.

This is the big hurdle with him. I don't think it's ability. It's durability.

So we used a premium draft pick on him because why?? I thought we were done taking these blue light specials this high up in the draft. Especially at a position where we didn't have a great need.

The staff obviously saw at least a third round pick. I agree with others that health is likely a major key. Becoming consistent in effort and technique is necessary as well. Perhaps we can watchfully wait.

Hey, he's a mid-round pick that has some good qualities and could develop into a solid player,,, that's what you're looking for in a mid-round pick. Dallas just needs to keep doing that every year and they will hopefully hit on enough players to keep their OL in good shape. The NFL is loaded with solid O-linemen who were picked after the blue chippers were gone,,, usually not by us but hopefully that will change!

But he allowed sacks on the fake rookie minicamp QB and was holding air a lot. So that other stuff means nothing.
you cant judge lineman at a rookie camp with no pads or contact. we can be optimistic/ pessimistic about a player but we really won't know until live action time.

Hitchens did more in his rookie year than many many 4th round picks ever do in the NFL. He saved the season. Because of injuries they would have been doomed without him. He is already a successful pick if he never plays another down.
